My second pair of HOKAs

I would have bought them years ago if I knew how comfortable they are. They are lightweight, with a roomy toe box, and plenty of tread to grip the ground. The wide sole seems to assist with balance and make me feel very secure. Plus they look really nice.

Five Months In-Review *****

These Challengers were my second pair of Hokas. Had been trail running in the Torrents for a couple months which felt too stiff on pavement for me (great on trails, though). Turns out I've run in the Challengers ever since. They transition trail to pavement exceptionally well. I find the grip excellent on sandy/pebbly trails with some larger rocks/small boulders to navigate (New Mexico foothills). I LOVE THEM. For reference, I run 3-5 miles a few times a week, am 5' and weigh about 115 lbs. I usually wear size 8 in running shoes and 8 fits perfect. I wear with thin or lightly padded low or ankle height socks. They've been washed and air dried once, so far no obvious wear. The Torrents have been relegated to Athleisure :)

Light and supportive

I bought this for my sister and I don't know how this fits her yet but I tried it on and it feels really good on my feet. It's very light and supportive. I feel this will be a great pair to wear for long hours of work.

Impressed with CHALLENGER 7

Well I waited a while to review and I'm glad I did ,at first I was not impressed. They were not overly anything special compared to my Skechers and the cost was a bit more. But last week I took them on a hiking trail for the first time , many raised roots and rocks then I realized they were worth the money, much more stable than my Skechers.I love hiking in the woods but with the obstacles I felt uneasy almost turned my ankles a few times but with these the fear is now gone they handle it all well not wobbly at all...Happy with my purchase.I'm a 70 yr, old female

Beautiful and comfortable

Wore them for the first time for a 13 hour shift, couldn't tell a bit that I had on brand new shoes and not my old broken in pair. Love them so much.

I would purchase this shoe again!

I love the Challenger 7 shoes. I talked to a Rep to help in deciding which shoe to buy since I walk on dirt trails and she pointed me in the right direction. The shoes are comfortable and have met my expectations. Thank you Hoka!

Comfortable, but could be better.

I received them in the mail on the 11th (it is now the 15th) and have done some running and walking in them every day since I got them. The underside midsole (grey area on underside of 'mist green/trellis color) is getting wrinkled/cracked already and somewhat compressed, and they were silent initially and now make an odd little squidgy noise. These would probably be fine for wearing to run errands but they seem to be getting utterly traumatized by my wearing them for trail running/walking and light urban walking/running.
