Why We Like The Bondi 8 Running Shoe
With an updated base, HOKA's Bondi 8 gives us that same step-in comfort and plush ride we loved from its predecessor but in a lighter, more stable package. The flared platform gives our landings a wider footprint for steady strides, while the midsole's horizontal grooves soften the blow on heel strikes, keeping our joints happy mile after mile.

Love them!
So comfortable! I wear them everyday for my walk. No break in. Perfect right out of the box.

Very Disappointed
Loved the Bondi 7 that were comfortable and lasted a reasonable amount of time. Purchased the Bondi 8 only 2 1/2 months ago and support-wise they feel completely worn out. Cushioned feel was gone in only a couple weeks or so and just seemed cheaply made. This shoe is so bad that they hurt my feet. I also purchased the Mach 5 to give a try but didn't like the lack of cushion/support and comfort. Since I had worn both shoes outside I'm not sure if they could be returned so I donated them. Now that the Bondi 7 have been brought back as an option to purchase, I plan to give them another try since I loved them. Fingers are crossed that they are made exactly as the original Bondi 7 without using cheaper materials or cutting corners to reduce costs.

Great shoe!
The shoe is very comfy with a stable bottom. I have thin feet and they tend to roll and I don't have this problem with these shoes. I have narrow feet and the B width is perfect. The best part is the wide toe box since I have a neuroma and my toes are not pinched. Extremely comfortable.

Finally a pink shoe but the color was not bright enough
After looking at the shoe color for several days, I decided to return it because I really didn't like it that much. If you like pale shoes (and granted it was a "seasonal " offering), you might like it but I thought it wasn't bold enough for me and would get dirty very quickly. That said, it's just a matter of taste so I wouldn't discourage others from choosing it.

Comfortable and supportive
I work in the hospitality industry and struggle with lower back pain. I finally decided to try the Hoka Bondi 8 for work and the slides for when I am home and I have noticed a significant difference. I highly recommend!

Color of shoes received is very different from picture
I LOVE my Hokas, just bought my 7th pair. But one huge reason I love these shoes is because of the colors and sadly this pair of Bondis in Twilight/Waterpark does not match what's pictured. The soles are much more purple appearing than vibrant pink. I'm not disappointed enough to return them, though. They're still beautiful, just not what I thought o would be getting.

Love the summer colors!
I love the color of my new Hoka's! The color turned out to be even nicer than shown in the picture! I have been wearing Hoka's for several years and find they are the best for my morning walks of 6-8 miles! I will continue to walk in Hoka's!

Shoe Laces
These are my third pair of Bondi shoes. The first were the 7 and I thought they were the best shoes ever. When they were discontinued I was assured that the Bondi 8 was the same with a few tweaks. They were good but I felt inferior to the 7. Those Bondi 8 (1127952 SSAA) have been replaced by Bondi 8 (1127952 CSAA. These drive me crazy. They have too much flare, not the same cushioning and the shoe laces are so short and stiff that once on, you have to struggle to get them off. Finally I replaced those laces with the ones from the previous pair and can now tie my shoes on the last hole. I'll never buy another Bondi unless I can get a 7. I hate this because HOKAS were so fabulously comfortable and didn't look like a clown shoes.

Love them!
I am a pediatric nurse, so I am on my feet all day for 10+ hours a day. These are a life saver and my feet no longer ache after a long day. The wide base rubber soles take a bit to get used to, but they offer so much support that I don't care if someone commented on how clown looking they are. My husband has reoccurring Achilles tendinitis and flat feet, so these were a life saver for him! He no longer uses inserts for his shoes and he can definitely tell the difference after an hour if he does not wear his Hoka. We love that the Bondi 8 has the extra wide option too!
