    Lifaloft Hybrid Insulator Jacket

You hike fast. You can't stand staying in one spot longer than it takes to take in the view. You go to the ski resort and then traverse everywhere you can to find that powder stash. If this sounds familiar, the Helly Hansen Lifaloft Hybrid Insulator Jacket just might be your next big thing. This hybrid layer features insulation only where you need it most (your core), leaving stretchy panels at your side for maximum breathability, and bulk-free sleeves for easy movement. Weather-resistant fabric discourages wind and precipitation from sinking its claws into you, but should you encounter more moisture than expected the Lifaloft insulation won't lose its loft, and you won't lose your warmth. Helly Hansen equipped the Lifaloft with a drawcord cinch at the hem, and two zippered pockets for stashing your smallest essentials.

    • Hybrid layer for high-intensity pursuits in the great outdoors
    • Synthetic insulation offers reliable wet weather core warmth
    • Stretch panels at side and sleeves help you dump heat
    • Elastic cuffs and adjustable hem lock out the chill
    • Zippered pockets keep all the small things secure
    • Slim fit can easily be layered beneath a shell

Great light layer for warmth and layering. It has a lot of stretch for moving around but is surprisingly warm for how light weight it is.

Swarm. I threw a shell over this jacket and went mountain biking in some rainy weather. The jacket kept me warm while being breathable. It's also a durable jacket because I flew off my bike and there were no holes. 10/10 would recommend.

I picked up this jacket not for skiing or boarding but as a nice spring time jacket. This is not what I would normally get style wise but once I had it I really liked it. I went off the size chart and it fits true to size.

I love the fit, style, and most importantly the functionality! The jacket feels rather thin and it has a slimmer cut, but it's fairly well insulated. The weight to warmth ratio is impressive to say the least. If you're going under 40 degrees grab a shell, lower than 30 I'd put a baselayer underneath. I haven't been too warm in it yet though. I wear this around the house, it's so comfortable. The side fleece panels dump excess heat really well. The wind resistant body and vented arms make sure the jacket's windproof but not too warm. A great winter layering piece or early spring jacket. I've used it hiking, camping, biking, and climbing. It's ideal when temperatures drop quickly as well. For the weight and the price, I'd say it's a great buy.

I love this jacket! It is slim fitting but super comfortable! I was able to rock it anywhere from the great outdoors to formal occasions as a sports jacket! Seriously amazing jacket as a mid layer or for top layer during spring and fall temps!

OK, I spoke with the Rep and he filed me in on the technical aspects of this jacket. From his experience and recommendation, I took it out to the resort and on a Backcountry Cat Skiing trip and was a saving grace, fit was great, so comfortable, ket me the right temperature all day. On my way to buy one right now! Can't go wrong...
