We like wearing the Helly Hansen Men's Brono Softshell Pant on backpacking treks, day hikes, and summer mountaineering trips. The fabric is light, stretchy, and so packable that the pant can pack into its own pocket for compact storage in our backpacks. Helly Hansen fitted it with articulated knees and a gusseted crotch so we can hike comfortably. The fabric's also wind- and water-resistant to protect from brisk breezes and light rainshowers.

I love these pants to much, I just bought a second pair. I wear them in the winter in Idaho, they keep me warm but are still lightweight. They are bomb proof (I’ve had my other pair for several years, and they still look new). Really comfortable, great for hiking, camping, anything outdoors.

I'm a big guy, so it's normally harder for me to find pants that fit right, especially for guys with longer legs. I was worried these wouldn't fit right with how it normally goes with other brands. I was very wrong! These fit really well. They're a little small, but that's mainly because I usually need a bigger size than what I ordered, but they don't have it on this site sadly. I've gone on several hikes now using these and they do wonders! I highly recommend these!
