    Bigger and better.

Light years better than pulling up the cooler or an off-kilter stump as a seat, the Helinox Chair Two Camp Chair allows you to enjoy the campsite in comfort like never before. Featuring a wider and higher seat than the original, this camp favorite scoops you up in comfort thanks to its ultralight and supportive aluminum frame and mesh construction. Meanwhile, not only does the carry bag makes easy and compact transport, it can also be filled with padding (towel, sweatshirt, etc.) and attached to the chair back to be used as a neck pillow. And a single shock-corded pole structure makes sure you get set up and sitting in comfort quicker than the rest of the group.

    My favorite Helinox chair

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I first purchased the Helinox One Chair and loved how compact, sturdy, and lightweight it was. I bought this one specifically because the back is higher and my wife wanted a place to rest her head. When I brought it home she immediately claimed it as her own and almost fell asleep in it -- it was that comfortable!

    What you want!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

On my 6 day river trip down Cataract Canyon someone stole my chair every single time I got up, it was that comfortable. It was so nice having a head rest as well as a comfortable angle to relax after long days on the water. If you can afford the space, this chair is what you want!

    Wasn't for me

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

I tried out a friend's Helinox Chair One last year on my backpacking trip and I liked the idea of having some "luxury" after packing in a few miles. This year I decided to get my own, I bought the Chair Two and the TRAVELCHAIR Joey Camp Chair to compare. I wanted the Chair Two for the headrest and extra length. I set up both and they were both easy and light. I chose to go with the Joey for my backpacking luxury chair. Chair Two was too low to the ground for me. I could not get in a comfortable position and even set up my stove, pack, and other camping essentials around me to see if I could do some things from my chair. I found it wobbly and easy to tip forward out of. I did like the extra length to support my back and the headrest where you can stash some clothes to make a pillow. Perhaps if I was a smaller person I would have fit better in it.

    Ultralight and Ultracomfortable

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

We needed a chair that would pack down smaller for car camping and still be comfortable. We liked this one so much we bought two. Can't say enough great things about them, worth every penny. Contrary to other reviewers, I think it is too heavy to take backpacking (2.6 lbs, are you kidding me?!) but Helinox makes a 12-oz chair for backpacking. This one is luxuriously perfect for car camping.

Nice upgrade from the basic ultralights

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I sat in a dozen or so chairs trying to find the perfect one for my Ragnar Trail Races. My main goal was to find something that was light-weight, but comfortable. Some of the barebones ultralight chairs you see remind you every moment you are sitting in them that their first priority isn't being a chair. The Chair 2 however is a comfortable lounger. It really supports you nicely. This does come at a cost, which in this case is a packed weight of 2.6 pounds. When packed mine measures 16" and is slightly larger than a softball in diameter. It is lower to the ground then I would like, but this is minor. Set up is very easy and you can have it built in less than a minute. Toss a couple pieces of clothing into the bag it comes in and you had a decent head pillow from the bag the chair comes in. This chair is perfect for those that have a little more room in their pack (or outside with the MOLEE attachments) and willing to carry an extra pound in comparison to the ultralights. I have no regrets for this one.

    One of the BEST

This is one of the best camp chairs out there. It's light weight poles make it perfect for backpacking, but really great for any kind of camping. The extended back is worth the upgrade. This chair is very well made and is very sturdy.

      Camp tested, friend approved

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I've taken this chair on both car camping trips and a backpacking trip, and it's impressed me every time. For being so light and easy to set up, I was skeptical of how comfortable it would be, but trust me: it is very comfortable! I even had my friends try it out and they agreed (and for car camping they lug their full-size folding camp chairs). I recommend this one with the high back so you can lean back vs. the one without (I tried both before purchasing).
