It looked very promising until you putit on. The material for the back of the hand is very stiff even with the material removed from the middle at the back of the hand towards the wrist whenever you curl your hand backwards. I tend to have small hands but the finger loops digs into the base of the fingers when you clench your fist. I have used the Black Diamond version that is more supple and comfortable to wear and use. Also, the wrist strap has a nice loop and hook feature when it is stored in a fold under the wrist. But when you attach the straps to your wrist and bring it back onto itself, there are no loops for the hooks to attach to. It just hangs loosely. Not a particularly good design. Not recommended. Move along. Try another brand for protecting the back of your hand for crack climbing.
