Crush Light Chroma

When you're counting ounces, eliminating a camp lantern and only bringing a headlamp seems like a good idea until you consider the Goal Zero Crush Light Chroma. This lantern only weighs three ounces, so it's barely a sacrifice and it's worth its weight as it illuminates your entire space. The Full Bright light provides up to 60 lumens for plenty of visibility in high mode, and the Crush has three other modes so you can customize the beam to meet your needs. If you need less light for a longer amount of time, the low mode provides light for up to 35 hours. When you're ready to pack up, the Crush collapses down to half an inch in height, and you can clip it to the outside of your pack to charge it via the integrated solar panel as you hike.

Works great!

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I've only used once so far on a camping trip with my boys. Hung it up in the tent and it provided the perfect amount of light at night. I wouldn't recommend it to light your whole campsite up, but great for providing some gentle light at night. My kids loved that it had the different colors too.

Such a fun camping essential!

I've put it through the wringer

This has become a staple on all my outdoor adventures whether I’m backpacking, car camping, or simply having a backyard bonfire with friends. Read my full product review at: https://dirtbagdreams.com/2020/01/10/proview-goal-zero-chroma-crush-light/

Multi-tool if You're Creative

Familiarity:

This guy came in extremely helpful in a pinch. I took it with me as a lighter option when I went on a backpacking/trail running adventure with my dog. The light worked perfectly for around the campsite and was happy to bring it around with me with the dispersion of light that you get with the popup. I fell in love with it when I needed a makeshift bowl for my dog. I simply added water to the "bowl" and it worked like a gem.

Crush Light

Bought a couple of these to use in our van. So far they work great, easy to use and hang were we need light. Haven't needed to charge them yet, but I like having both options to do so.

Great settings

I use this mostly for car camping/van life, and its been great. Easy to charge with the USB (I haven't used the soal charge yet cause I've kept it in the car/van). The full-light setting is great, and I also love the candlelight setting which is super pleasant for reading and hanging out.

No more cooking in the dark

This little light is fantastic for our truck camping setup. We have a platform bed with storage built out in the back of my F-150, with only about 8 inches of depth in the drawers. With such limited space, collapsible items like water kettles, pots, and food storage containers have been a life-saver, and now this powerful little lantern tucks neatly into those drawers as well! Makes hanging out after dark even easier, extending the life of a weekend off the grid :)
