I bought these as a gift for my dad, whose old slippers were falling apart. He practically lives in them at home now and uses them to get the mail, check on the grill outside, and run out to the garage. I was back and forth between a 40.0 and a 41.0, because he generally wears an 8 in his running shoes but I went with a 40 and that seemed like the right call. According to him, they are "warm and well made"

Love My Glerups

I absolutely love the Glerups. If you're looking for the absolute softest slippers, you may want to look for something with a fluffy interior, BUT for wool slippers, they're exactly what I expected in softness. They fit and form well to my feet, the rubber bottoms are great to wear outside, they're both incredibly warm but breathable. NOTE - I ordered a size smaller than I normally do as I wear them without socks and that was the correct sizing.

I was expecting a lot more from these. My husband has the leather bottomed ones and he loves them. These feel like there's an overly shaped bottom that made me feel like I was walking on a deflated but rounded ball. I think it's just their version of a foot mold and it doesn't work with my foot. I currently have a pair of fleece lined slippers with leather outside material, and I find them to be way warmed. I was surprised that these didn't feel very warm compared to my current slippers, despite having socks on with them. I'm returning.

Just ok

Honestly, I expected more from all the hype. I wore around the house for a day intermittently but they never felt truly comfortable. The left foot felt like I was walking on something strange. I did not feel that way on the right foot so maybe there was a slight defect in the sole even though there was nothing obvious. They also felt itchy if I tried to wear them without socks. I may have kept them, but for the price I expected more.

These feel great on my feet right out of the box. I wear a 10 and the 41 fits fine. I got the charcoal/tan combo. I'm wearing them without socks. I was looking for a house-shoe type thing I can work from home in. I have spent time living in Europe, and the europeans are all about these boiled-wool type of house shoes. I am ok spending more up front for products that last. After reading all the great glerups reviews, I decided to try these. They are living up to the hype! And I love how they have a rubber sole so I can take out the trash, call in the cat etc.

I bought them as a XMAS gift. We had to return two other brands because he didn't like them, but when these came they were perfect. He wears them every single day, and goes on and on about how comfortable they are. I highly recommend if you're looking for a great slipper with a nice, sturdy bottom.

There was an initial hiccup when my first pair of this shoe style quickly developed wool 'blisters' on the top of the shoe- not on pressure points. There were odd dimples that were evident from the start but I didn't pay much attention until the dimples started peeling like blisters and I could see the thin layers of wool separating. We were inside of 30 days so the return process was fairly simple. They process exchanges like returns so you will need to pay for the new ones before you get a refund on the exchange. There was also a small fee that was deducted from my refund and I'm not sure what that was. Most likely shipping? But it was only 6.99 and I received the new pair with 2-day shipping at no extra charge. Backcountry processed my refund within 2 days of receiving the defective shoes. The new pair are perfect! No dimples. No blisters. I love these shoes! I wear a women's US 9.5W shoe and the 40.0 fits perfectly with a Smartwool sock and a little loose with no socks (the slip on style fits the same). The felt is thick so there isn't much give but they do open up a smidgen around the ankle after a few days of constant wear.
