    Capable of everything.

In the land of confusing acronyms, the Giro LA DND Women's Gloves are queen. The sleek and stylish patterns will keep you Tinseltown-stylish when you're hitting the Lycra runway, and the silicone-tipped fingers are perfect for keeping a killer grip on your eight-sided dice, but the LA DND really comes alive when you're on the bike. The palm, fingers, and thumbs are made from lightweight but durable Clarino synthetic leather, while the upper is made from a four-way-stretch fabric and features knuckle flex zones that let you move your hands freely, wick moisture, and keep you cool. Vibration-killing EVA foam patches on the palm keep your hands unbruised and stop them falling asleep, and a soft thumb patch is perfect for keeping boogers from interfering with your starlet style (and breathing).

    Perfect! Look no further...

Wife absolutely loves these gloves! Perfect fit, durable, have saved her hands several times already. Take a licking and keeps on ticking. Great glove for any level of riding.

    Awesome gloves!

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: Runs small

These gloves are awesome, I love how durable the palm fabric feels, and the turquoise/bright teal colorway pops so nicely for a little flare! I do feel they run pretty tight, but am hoping they will stretch out a little. I ordered a medium and felt like they fit a little small.

    Great gloves, great price

I love my Giro La DND gloves so much that I now have them in 3 colors. They're lightweight and comfortable, not too much padding, but enough coverage.

My only gripe is that I have kind of longer thumbs, so I have to size up from my normal glove size, and even then my thumbs feel a little too snug in the length in these. They do run small, but if you size up, they're awesome.

    Because I Love My Wife

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size

The DND glove is simple and amazing. They last, they are not too expensive, they have some of the best designs and patterns, and did I mention that they last? So when my wife needed some new gloves, I snagged her the ladies version of my tried and true, favorite glove. She loves them.

    Absolutely Perfect

These gloves are exactly what I was looking for. They feel almost too tight when you first get them, but do stretch out after a few rides. I only put that they run small because they are tight at first. I followed the size chart which said a medium and they are the perfect size after a few rides. Super cute, but also don't give me blisters like other gloves. The fingers are the right length so I don't have excess fabric at the top of my fingers. Very breathable as well.

    No Complaints

I have had a few pairs of these gloves, and really just don't have any issue with them. They fit great. I love the fun colors. And I barely notice them on my hands. Plus.....they work with my phone's touchscreen! For such a good price, why not pick up a few? I go through about one pair per season, so the durability is perfect too!

    GIRO GLOVES

These are ok. Lighter than I expected and I'm not sure how well they will protect my hands if I fall on them. Too short for my thumb. Great color. I got the bright lime

    Great so far!

I have small hands and didn't want to be swimming in a bulky pair of mountain bike gloves, and these fit exactly the way I hoped. They're actually on the small side right now, which means they'll be perfect as they start to stretch with wear. They give me great grip on the bars, brakes, and shifters, but the sticky material on each finger hasn't worked on touchscreens so far for me, which is the only inconvenience.

    Giro mountain bike gloves

I purchased these gloves for my wife and she wears a size 6 in gloves and overall has tiny hands. The small fits her like a glove. No really. Not the most durable gloves and shes had the palm, and fingers split on previous pairs but after a season of riding they get gross anyways.

      Love these

      • Fit: True to size
      • Size Bought: Medium

I keep coming back to these. After riding a TON last year (3+ rides per week starting in the spring) my gloves are still in good riding shape. Not bulky, breathe and articulate well while still providing protection. Love the color schemes as well, guaranteed to match your kit perfectly.

I can't get enough of these gloves!

I've tried about 10 different brands and makes of gloves and I will always go back to the Giro DND. I like my gloves to be minimal, no additional padding and no Velcro. These slip on and off with ease! I do well over 100 rides in the summer on the MTB and wash these gloves after every ride and they are holding up beautifully. They do run a bit small. I normally wear a size small but the mediums fit perfect in this glove.

I can't get enough of these gloves!

      Great gloves, but run small!

      • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
      • Fit: Runs small

Key points that I like about these gloves:
      - no velcro strap
      - almost no padding (I use these for biking, running, driving, gardening, etc...)
      - lots of fun designs!
      - the knuckle breaks in the fabric allows the thumb, index and middle finger to bend easier (see photos)

I am pretty much always a size small in gloves, so I bought a small, and they just BARELY fit the first time I wore them. After the first few uses, they stretch, but only a little.

      Wish I got 2 pairs

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Used these gloves primarily during fall and winter in Boston on my bicycling commute as well as running gloves. I bought it in the, no longer available, pink and blue watercolorish style and love the look of them and have gotten compliments on them multiple times. It fits snugly, yet comfortably around my hand and all my fingers. I didn't find it TOO snug like other customers have mentioned. Love the pull tab, naturally I reach to that spot to pull on gloves anyway so it's nice to be rewarded.

Terms of wear and tear, the grippy designs on the palm side do rub off with wear, but not a deal breaker. Nothing else has shown much issue and I'll continue using these as bike and running gloves for a long time to come.

Awesome gloves but avoid anything white

I have these in the black and white polka dot print (white palm). Why anyone makes white mtb gloves is beyond me. These got dirty super quick, obviously. But hey! They still look cute on the tops. Washing with bleach only goes so far with the stains too. Fit nice and snug so there is minimal rubbing on my palms. No padding on the palms though which is a bummer. I like a little padding on the palm where the fingers meet the palm... always getting calluses there.

      Unanswered Question

Why are these gloves labeled as having Clarino palms when they are clearly shipped with AX Suede hangtags?

Should I get a small or med? The size...

Should I get a small or med? The size small is on the snug side and the medium slightly big when I tried them on earlier this month. I know it's better to err on the side of smaller is better but I'm concerned that if my fingers swell a little, will the small be too tight? Or will these stretch out and "break in" after a while?

      Best Answer

Depending on how much you use them, they are very likely to stretch to some degree. The clarino (synthetic leather) and the elastic in the the back of the glove will give some once they warm up and are stretched a few times, just like a new pair of shoes.
