Giro Dime Helmet - Kids'

Giro based the design of its Dime kids’ helmet on its adult helmet—the Quarter. The Dime is comprised of an ABS shell with impact-absorbing EPS foam inside. The interior padding can be adjusted to perfect the Dime’s fit. The Dime also has eight air vents to cool Junior’s head. The best part of the Giro Dime, however, is that it’s completely at home on four wheels or two, so the only time your little ripper will take the Dime off will be bedtime. Oh, and dinner.

Nice looking helmet for the specific sized head.

Not Bulky Like Other Kid Helmets!

This is a great upgrade from your standard 1-3 year old helmets you usually see around. It's not huge and bulky like the others and fits a child similar to helmets that fit adults. My son just turned 3 and the XS fit him perfectly.

Encourages safe riding

The helmet looks great so it makes it easy to associate safety with "coolness" for young kids. I bought the XS for a 2.5 year old and it fit perfectly.

Great Helmet

I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

My son loves this helmet. (went with the Matte Vermillion) It fits great and was easy to adjust. Nice that it came with extra padding just in case.

No Cracked Eggs

I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

I bought two of these - one for each nephew, ages 3 & 5. They both have massive domes, so I was a little unsure of the fit... it's perfect for the 5 year old and slightly loose on the 3 year old, although the size guide indicated it would be appropriate for his head circumference. At any rate, they're still getting used to them, but so far the noggins are in tact!
