Why We Like The Garmin Forerunner 255
The Garmin Forerunner 255 gives us all the data we need to get the most out of every training cycle and rest day. The lightweight sport watch tracks our health with a short and long-term focus so we know when to push ourselves and when to lay low so we have ample time to recover. The 14-day battery in smartwatch mode, and 30 hour battery in GPS mode, give us plenty of power to get through our day without needing to stop and recharge. comfortable, but less than I hoped for
Comfortable to wear and works OK. However, the watch faces that it comes with are really poor. I had to download 3 or 4 new watch faces before I could find one that was sort of acceptable. Also, running every other day the battery only last five or six days. If you ran every day you might have to recharge it every two or three days

Perfect Run Companion
I'm 3 weeks into daily wear of my FR255 and it has been great. My primary needs out of a watch are pace, distance, and elevation to assist with marathon training, and this watch does great for these metrics. I also powerlift but haven't used this watch to try tracking anything in the gym, only running. It's capable of far more than my current use demands of it. I have found the Body Battery data to be pretty useful as well. I had no need for the latest and greatest AMOLED displays and such, so the FR255 turned out to be precisely the watch for me. If you're after a simple yet feature-rich watch, regardless your sport, this is a solid choice.

Another excellent Garmin product
I bought the Forerunner 255 as an upgrade from my Forerunner 45. The 255 exceeds all my expectations. Thank you Garmin!

More complicated than needed
I bought and started using 20 days ago and have struggled with the use and understanding of the features. Good accuracy of heart rate—-working on learning the applications.

46mm display
I've owned several Garmins, over the years, starting with the 201 Forerunner. This is by far the best GPS I've owned. I bought it because of the 46 mm display and didn't think I needed all the features that this watch has but they motivate you to run more and improve. I thought you needed an extra pod for the running dymanics but software was updated. Weekly mileage, VO2 are displayed, O2 displayed or on demand, Vertical Oscillation, ground contact time, power zones and a lot more for those who take running seriously!

Great accuracy
My wife bought this for me as a 50th birthday gift. I’ve run 5K’s & a half marathon since receiving it, and it has been super accurate. The data it provides after a run is more detailed than an Apple Watch.

Overall sports wise better than my other watch
For someone new to Garmin it was a little difficult to navigate the features. Wish more tweaks could be done from the app. Very comfortable on the wrist which I think helps with accuracy of body metrics. The app platform and watch fit my interests of running, hiking, gym work. Don't think I'll be returning to my previous product.

Does this have music storage? Based off the price, and not seeing anything in specs I would guess no.
