Why We Like The Fox Racing Dropframe Pro Fw23
Sometimes, the trail takes a turn, and we find ourselves in steeper, more aggressive terrain where we might wish we had more protection on our heads. The Fox Racing Dropframe Pro helmet is the answer, as it effectively blends aspects from full-face and half-shell helmets into one helmet with extended protection on the bottom and sides. Fox loaded this helmet with dual-density impact foam to help absorb impact energy, and Mips technology helps reduce rotational forces from angled impacts. A three-position visor and a removable go-pro mount allow us to capture footage for the boys, and a rear BOA dial fit system and a Fidlock magnetic buckle ensure we get the perfect fit every time.

Great looking lid, super uncomfortable
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
I like this style helmet that covers your ears. I have a UVEX and Gyro in same style but the Dropframe is much better looking, so I had high hopes. The BOA system is good but the implementation is bad, its difficult to crank down as the strings bind and then there is a very tight pressure in a small footprint placed on your forehead from the string system. Ill still run this but not for long days on the bike...
