Sleeping is a summer pastime.

The FlyLow Women's Foxy Bib Pant is for the dedicated few who are up at the crack of dawn, patiently awaiting the day's snow report while refreshing radar feeds and studying snow stake cams. Needless to say, for those that prefer slashing powder to snoozing on winter mornings, the Foxy Bib Pant delivers unprecedented protection with its 3-layer Intuitive membrane, fully sealed construction, and excellent coverage. Robust nylon reinforcements along the cuffs prevent ripping and tearing where the pant is most susceptible to wear over time.

The pant's adjustable bibs keep waist-deep snow from billowing inside with every glorious trip to the white room. Inner and outer thigh vents help you cool off when you're skinning in the backcountry or lapping the resort on spring days. Snap-in compatibility with FlyLow Jackets offers a snow-tight seal from deep powder. There's also a kangaroo chest pocket for convenient access to essential items and snacks when you're deep in the backcountry.

While these weren't designed with ice climbing in mind, they definitely did the trick and I was dry and pretty comfortable (minus the freezing temps) the whole time.

Here's a photo of it in action during an ice climbing trip in Ouray, Colorado.

Great gift

  • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
  • Size Bought: XS
  • Height: 5'3"
  • Weight: 105lbs

I got these for my sister and this is what she had to say
"Size ordered: XS. 5'3" 105 #s. These fit nicely and despite the reviews that say they fit small, especially in the thighs, I dont have bulky/fat legs and they fit quite nicely. They are warm, fit nicely over my boots, and the kangaroo pouch is large enough to fit all kinds of things...even a few beers. It seems as if the ski bib is back in style with a vengeance and these definitely are something to wear to shred on the slopes and also while throwing back a few during apres for a cute mountain girl look. The first day I wore them on the ski hill, I also decided to continue to wear them to do a few errands: to the grocery store and to Target...they were THAT comfy and stylish, I didn't give it a second thought. "
I'm really happy that she loves them!

Great Bibs

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: Runs small
  • Size Bought: Small
  • Height: 5'2"
  • Weight: 115lbs

I initially purchased these in an XS, as that is my usual size in pants, leggings, gear, etc. However, they were a bit too tight and form-fitting. I returned for a S, which fit perfectly.

The cut is on the looser side, which is great for touring around and digging pits. I'm glad a company made ski pants for women that aren't form-fitting and cut like a pair of jeans I would wear on a night out. The fabric seems super durable, and the system FlyLow developed to allow for bathroom breaks in the back-country is easy to use.

Definitely recommend these pants!

Too Athletic Legs...sad face

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
  • Fit: Runs small
  • Size Bought: medium
  • Height: 5'6"
  • Weight: 142lbs

Super sad...my quads make them tight. The length is great. The style, zippers, pockets, fabric, and color are amazing thus my 4 stars. My legs are just too athletic for the pants. My quad is 21" for comparison to others. I fear I would be going along loving life and then just bust through the legs and booty and then have a situation. And I suppose if I am being honest with myself the bibs were a bit tight in the bust. I did have a regualr bra on not a sports bra but a little more room would have been nice. Going to try to find them in a large and hope for the best.

Foxy AND Functional

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

I'm learning how to ski this year in the Wasatch Mountains of Utah, and I wanted to make sure I bought gear and clothes that would keep me warm, dry, and could be used for more than just resort skiing. I had several colleagues recommend the Flylow Foxy Bibs to me and after reading reviews on it I I'm learning how to ski this year in the Wasatch Mountains of Utah, and I wanted to make sure I bought gear and clothes that would keep me warm, dry, and could be used for more than just resort skiing. I had several colleagues recommend the Flylow Foxy Bibs to me and after reading reviews on it I decided to purchase it -- I have to say I will be using these bibs for years to come!

First of all, these just look awesome. I would probably remove some of the leg pockets because i find them to be superfluous, but otherwise the aesthetic of these bibs is sweet. It has a very convenient chest pocket that is large enough for a beacon, a map, or miscellaneous women's products should you need to stow that away. I also love the added security of a bib (i.e. no fear of my pants falling down during skiing) and it gives you extra coverage from wind and snow than traditional ski pants do.

Along with that, these are extremely comfortable and do not restrict my range of motion in any way. The straps are very stretchy and do not dig into my shoulders whatsoever -- the stretch makes them very easy to pull over your shoulders when clipping them into the chest buckles, and you don't even notice them when you are charging down the mountain or just hanging out having lunch.

These bibs are also much warmer than expected even though they aren't insulated. I am one of those "easily cold" humans, so I was nervous that I'd need to layer up extra beneath these, however I was relieved to discover that a lightweight fleece base layer or merino wool layer is sufficiently warm even on days with zero sunlight and a lot of windchill!

My favorite feature of these is probably the left side zip that goes from the waist down to the mid calf. This is incredibly useful and convenient for not only pulling the bibs on and off, but also for the times when nature calls -- you can just unzip the left side and fold over the back of the bibs rather than stripping your jackets and bibs off . It saves so much time and makes the whole process much easier!

The one caveat of these is that the cut of the bibs is very straight -- these are a good fit for someone with a mostly straight, athletic build to them. So if you have larger hips or thighs for whatever reason then you may want to consider going up a size (note: if you are short then going up a size could potentially make the legs too long -- the length for an XS that I ordered is perfect for my height).

You could easily wear these skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, or for any other snow sport related activity aside from maybe mountaineering or ice climbing! I am excited to use these for potential touring trips next winter.

*** Update: You can definitely use these for ice climbing! I just wore them to ice climb in Ouray Colorado for the first time and they lived to tell the tale!***

Huge Disappointment

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: Runs small
  • Size Bought: large
  • Height: 5'8"
  • Weight: 150lbs

I purchased these ski bibs for my daughter as a gift. She did the all the research and these were the bibs she wanted and thought would be a good quality bib for skiing. First of all (and the sizing has nothing to do with quality, but...) these run super small in the thighs. She had to go up a full size for the thighs and then the body was really long but it still worked. It made hiking a challenge, at times, but she made the fit work. My daughter started out loving them and then noticed, on a 3+ week ski trip, that the reinforced fabric by the boots wasn't holding up well at all. By the end of the ski trip there were multiple holes (not just scuffs) and there were less than a month old. I re-read the description in Backcountry and these pants definitely should have held up better than they did...especially at that price! We compared these bibs to all of the other ski pants and bibs in our collection and they just aren't as durable.

Great all day pant on and off piste!

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Sam
  • Height: 5'2"
  • Weight: 125lbs

These are my first pair of bibs that I have tried and so far, they are exactly what I was looking for. They are breathable, fit really well, and don't feel crunchy. The shoulder straps are comfortable and are easy to get over the head for using the bathroom :) I am 5'2 and 125 and the Small fits perfectly and is flattering. If you prefer them to fit baggier, I recommend sizing up.

Great fit

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

These bibs fit really well! I feel like a lot of women's fitting pants for ski pants are pretty frustrating. But these are sized really well and fit well. Love the zippers and pockets!

Touring adventure

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: medium
  • Height: 5'2"
  • Weight: 120lbs

THIS BIB IS AMAZING.
Before buying it, i tried on all the brands to find the best bib that would be supporting me in my touring adventure, that would fit my body perfectly and look good. It turned out that this bib was perfect for me and the price range was also affordable for my wallet.

I am 5''2 and wight 120LBS. I bought a size M in order to have space for layers and also to make sure I would be able to hike comfortably when I hit the backcountry.

The only thing I wish that would of been done differently is to find a little zipper at the bottom of the pants where the snaps are so I can fit the pants over my snowboard boots and biddings.

*FINALLY* The World's Best Bib

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: Runs small
  • Size Bought: large
  • Height: 5'6"
  • Weight: 140lbs

Flylow gets it. They understand the need for folks to have gear that works and shreds as hard as we do. They also understand that we are hydrated and dangit, dropping trou' shouldn't delay dropping in to enjoy some sweet sweet powder.

As other folks have said, these bibs run small! I wear a 28 jean, 6-8 pant, am 145#, 5'6" and the large fits pretty well (if a tiny bit long for me). The medium was too tight around the hips and thighs.

I love the pockets and purposeful design of the foxy bib. The straps are easily adjustable for whatever layers you're wearing beneath on a given day. The ankle gaiters stay put, keeping snow out of your boot buckles. The pockets are located within easy reach to grab your chapstick, wallet, keys, snacks, bevvies... The thigh vents are crucial for those warmer days, or the upsy-before-the-downsy.

And, friends, the piece-de-resistance: the ability to actually drop trou in these bibs. The thigh vent on the left side goes all all the way up to the bib strap, so you can simply unsnap the button, zip down, pull down the long johns, then bingo-bango, zip and snap and you're back in action! Why oh why has it taken this long to get these kinds of simple features? Unclear, but Flylow, THANK YOU!

I'm obsessed with these bibs and have been wearing them for the last month or so of the season and looking forward to many many more.

Love 'em!!!

Bout these for my friend's bday and she is OBSESSED:
"I'd been eyeing these bibs for the last few years and finally bought them and I'm very very satisfied. Though they are not fully insulated like my last pair of snow pants I made a minor adjustment to my layers and they have been great! They'll be great for the backcountry too! Very breathable, tons of zippers, and just enough pockets. Some may say bibs make it tough for women to pee in the woods but Flylow has nailed the design. No issues and did I mention great zippers?! The fabric seems waterproof though I can't really speak too much about it due to lack of powder days in them. Overall very satisfied with the Nebula color and fit. Nice and long yet hugging in all the right places. Highly recommend for a woman skier looking for a bib to shred the mountains. "

Bought for the Wife

  • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
  • Fit: Runs small

I purchased the Flylo Foxy Bibs for my wife. She has had a few resort days and she absolutely loves them, the construction is bomber and they look great. She reports that peeing in the woods is not as difficult as originally thought. The other reviews are correct that they do run a bit small so size up.

Mostly great

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Medium
  • Height: 5'5"
  • Weight: 130lbs

I decided to stick with these bibs... they are the best of what I tried. None of the pockets have D-rings or clips for keys or transceiver. The leg pockets are super low and actually interfere a little bit with my kneecaps, so it won't be safe to put much in them and it's not because they are overly long on me either. The length is just about right. Hopefully the shoulder straps will prove to be durable. They look like the elastic could wear pretty quickly. As other reviewers have said, the fit though the thighs is snug. It seems like the zipper will be constantly catching my base layer when I'm zipping them up. Once they are on, they move really well. They are super cute and stylish, too. I read that another reviewer got the men's baker bibs and loved them, so I tried them. I was much happier with many aspects of them, but at my size, the small was just way too big.

Great design but DEFINITELY runs small!

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
  • Fit: Runs small
  • Size Bought: Small
  • Height: 5'6"
  • Weight: 130lbs

I am 5'6", small frame, size 26 pants. I could barely zip the size smalls up. Unfortunately Backcountry is out of stock of the larger sizes so I can't say anything about their performance! But I have been looking for a ladies bib that goes over the chest so I was super excited for these puppies!

Ready to Rip

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Size Bought: Medium
  • Height: 5'7"
  • Weight: 140lbs

Cannot wait to ski in these. I think they'll be great for both the resort and the backcountry--likely more for the former, but even so, these will be rad for all of it. I ordered a Medium and they fit great. I like my ski stuff a little baggier, and while these are more "fitting" than anything else, the Large was certainly too big and bagged out in the bag a whole lot. As such, these will have to do it! And I think they definitely will. These bibs look rad and I can only imagine, being from Fly Low, they'll preform just as great as I hope.

Was almost in love with them!

Heard about these on the mountain, and decided to try. First pair was a little more fitted compared to my Nina pants I love, however, I returned because of that and I thought I’d prefer a brighter color over black. Ordered the Lotus color, same size and they fit much better, but the color was so close to last years coral, so I’m sadly returning them. I’ll try again next year.

    Buy!

    • Fit: Runs small
    • Size Bought: small
    • Height: 5'3"
    • Weight: 125lbs

These are my first pair of bibs and I am super happy with the quality! As with previous reviews they do run small. I have an athletic build and find the pants are a bit snug in my thighs. They do have some stretch to them so I don't feel super restricted when moving. The length is perfect so going up to a medium would probably end up being too long on me. Overall I am happy with the purchase and looking forward to lots of ski days in them!

    Happy Wife

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
    • Fit: Runs small
    • Size Bought: xs

I bought these for my wife and she loves them. She loves how they fit, but they probably run small. She's very slim and 5'3 and is probably between an XS and S, but stuck with the XS.

Absolutely my favorite pant out there

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

After wearing the foxy bib for all of competition season last year, I will never wear another pant again. These bibs were the absolute best decision I've made in a while. Whether coaching in -15F in the high West Elk mtns of Crested Butte, CO, to climbing T1 for inspection day at Kicking Horse Mtn, British Columbia, these pants held up through it all. I skied them hard for an entire season and they held up like a champ. These pants are extremely durable, warm when they need to be, breathable, easy to use the lou, and most important of all very fashionable :) I definitely have an athletic build as far as my legs go (you know, those skier quads!) and the size small fits me perfectly. Would absolutely recommend these pants to anyone and everyone. Thanks FlyLow for your dedication to functional gear!
