    Donna 2.1 Pant

Experience the soft and stretchy protection of the FlyLow Women's Donna Pant during your next backcountry ski tour, resort powder day, or out-of-bounds bootpack. The Donna Pant features a soft, stretchy face fabric that not only moves with your body during fast-paced tours and demanding exercise, but also breathes exceptionally well to prevent overheating. Further contributing to the pant's tour-friendly persona, inner and outer thigh ventilation zips channel cool outside air through the pant to disperse built-up moisture resulting from strenuous uphill skinning, while the fully articulated knees ensure a completely unrestricted range of motion.

The Donna features FlyLow's 3-layer Stretch Stormshell Intuitive membrane and fully taped seams to keep you pleasantly protected in the dampest conditions. Waterproof zippers prevent moisture from leaking through and dampening valuables stashed in any of the three generous pocket. Other handy features include seamless cuff reinforcement to prevent premature wear, as well as adjustable waist tabs for a secure fit.

    • Stretch shell pant for backcountry touring
    • 3-layer membrane keeps you dry without overheating
    • Fully taped seams prevent moisture from permeating into layers
    • Large inner and outer thigh vents ensure easy temperature regulation
    • Articulated knees provide full range of motion when striding uphill
    • Cuff reinforcements protect pants from sharp ski edges
    • Item #FLG00A8

    Dangerous Curves

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: Runs large
    • Size Bought: medium
    • Height: 5'8"
    • Weight: 135lbs

I demoed these pants and love the fabric, pockets, and the color. I really wanted these to work for me!! If I didn't care about the fit around the waist and bum, I'd keep them. But, they were crazy big in those areas for me.

I'm generally a shmedium. But, it does seem like these are for someone who's very curvy or can dead-lift 225, these just might be for you. The smalls fit good in the waist but then were really tight in the thighs and flattened my glutes. The medium was huge everywhere, including the waist. Sadly...a no-go for me.

    New and Improved Fit

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Small
    • Height: 5'9"
    • Weight: 135lbs

This is my second pair of Flylow Donna pants and I love the new fit! I got a size S and it's slim fit on the thighs for me and opens up at the boots for comfort. I love the sleek stitching on the pockets and the soft fabric of the pants. My old pants and these pants were/are very snow proof and waterproof.

    Baggy

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Small
    • Height: 5'4"
    • Weight: 120lbs

I really love the color Siren! It’s classy and goes great with my orange/red coat! The fit at the waist is perfect for but the legs are super baggy. I’m 5’4 and weight 120. I ordered the small. I was originally looking for a slimmer fit, so if you are looking for the slim fit, these are not the pants for you. The other thing I wasn’t very fond of are the pockets. They are hard to use when skiing. They are zipped pockets horizontally at the waist. It’s almost impossible to get anything in or out of them when sitting on a chairlift. They are very comfortable pants to ski in. I kept the pants because I absolutely loved the color and I feel the baggy part will eventually wear on me. Not great for backcountry skiing.

    Baggy

    Comfortable, solid, ski pant.

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Medium
    • Height: 5'8"

These pants fit well and were super bomber my first day out storm skiing. The teal color is cute and feminine. Nice and eleastic around the waist for a snug fit without being uncomfortable.

    Slayin' Pow

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

These pants are great. They have all the bells and whistles of other top ski pants, and have the great cut and style that I love from Flylow.

    Such a great pant!

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Medium
    • Height: 5'3"
    • Weight: 150lbs

These are my first pair of Flylow pants and I'm obsessed. I was a little hesitant to order a size medium since I have muscular legs, but given my 5'3" height and small waist I knew I would be swimming in the large. The medium is a little bit tight on my quads, but this turned out to not be an issue at all once skiing. The adjustable waistband has also been a godsend. So far I have only used them at resorts, but they have kept me plenty warm with a pair of fleece lined leggings underneath and the inner and outer vents are perfect for cooling down in the lift line. The material seems really rugged and has kept me dry. All of that being said, these pants also look amazing! My pants are the russet color and I get compliments every time I wear them. I can't wait to ski in them more!!

    Sweet pants!

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

Got these for my Mom, as she has begun to take interest in touring, and she has loved them! Really nice fabric that has the right amount of strech and still maintain waterproof abilities. I have always loved Flylow and these pants have been no exception!

    Great quality

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
    • Fit: Runs small
    • Size Bought: medium
    • Height: 5'9"
    • Weight: 150lbs

I have a flylow pant in medium that I have worn for several years. This pant I ordered medium, and it was too small, so I sent it back. Great quality and pockets.

    Both Awesome and Comfortable!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Large
    • Height: 5'10"

I really like these pants, bought them towards the end of the season when they were on sale. I'm 5'10'' so finding ski pants long enough can sometimes prove to be a challenge, I bought the large and they are the perfect length - a little loose in the waist. They can get a bit cold as you can feel the wind blow right through them. However, they are awesome for touring because of all the vents they have and for bluebird days. Overall, I would recommend them!

    Comfortable and functional!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: XL
    • Height: 5'6"
    • Weight: 170lbs

Vents on the inside and outside of the thigh of these pants is key and helps with a very quick cool down but be careful riding with them down, there is no mesh lining to keep the snow out. The pants are a slim fit without being too tight and are constructed with full range of movement in mind. So far they have been very waterproof, but they do ride a little lower so layering with long jackets helps. My Marmot Mikaela jacket and these pants make a perfect pair. If you're looking for insulation, look elsewhere. But fit, waterproofing, and wind proof is top notch in these pants!

Not totally waterproof, but solid pant

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
    • Fit: True to size

Bought these pants as a gift for a friend. She really likes the color and the fit of the pant, but wished that they were a bit more waterproof. Sometimes dampness shows on the outside of the pant, but she said they stay dry. Overall, good.

    Beware of Dog Hair

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
    • Fit: Runs small
    • Size Bought: Medium
    • Height: 5'7"
    • Weight: 150lbs

I loved this pant. This is definitely a Flylow product I would suggest ordering up a size. I originally ordered a Medium which was too small. (Hopefully we get more Large in stock!)
One thing to mention, is this fabric clings to dog hair. My roommates dog sheds little white hairs, and they were all over these pants after just trying them on. It didn't bother me too much but a warning if you have a dog that sheds a lot!

    AWESOME FIT

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: xs
    • Height: 5'1"
    • Weight: 106lbs

Ski pants have never quite fit me well, but the donna pants are on point! They are super comfortable and extremely flattering. They offer a little stretch so they are easy to move in as well. These are great for warm to medium cold days depending on the base layer, however, I'm purchasing the daisy insulated pant for those super cold days...plus I'm just addicted to flylow gear and need another excuse to purchase something :)

    Best fit ever!

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: XS
    • Height: 5'2"
    • Weight: 115lbs

I am so excited about these pants! I've been chasing the perfect fitting ski pant for years. Being 5'2" I run into length issues. I don't like the waist sitting too low while I'm skiing because of cold draft or the powder skirt riding up and I don't like too high-waisted feeling restricted. I want pockets deep enough to actually store items I may not want in my jacket and I want vents to be able to cool down. The Donna pant meets and exceeds all my wants! These are not too tight but flattering like my favorite jeans. I have room to wear a thin or thick base-layer. The length is perfect, long enough but not dragging. The material feels strong and durable but also surprisingly soft, comfortable with great stretch and mobility. The pockets zip closed so nothing falls out and there are zippered vents on the inside and outside thigh. I do like a vent that has mesh lining which these do not so air and snow will make direct contact with your skin. I bought the Night color and love it!

    The best pants

I got these pants in the night color, size small. The color is lighter than the pictures showed but is still a very nice color. The small fits me perfectly, I am 5'5" and about 128, though the waist sits a little higher than I normally prefer and the thighs could be just a tad roomier. These are definitely a fitted ski pant but are still very comfortable. They look really flattering on.

      Great, fitted pant

      • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
      • Fit: Runs small
      • Size Bought: Small
      • Height: 5'7"
      • Weight: 130lbs

These pants fit like a glove, so if that's your thing, they're great. I am typically a small, and I'm wearing a small, but the Donna pant is pretty snug, even with a thin base layer. It's fine for me, maybe not for others. Super perks: flexible knee construction makes bend super easy, side vents well-placed.

      Flattering and functional

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
      • Fit: True to size
      • Size Bought: M
      • Height: 5'4"
      • Weight: 150lbs

These are my go to pants for everything snow. I've put them through the wringer day in and day out, in resort and in the backcountry. The stretchy material makes for a comfortable and flattering fit, but the cut doesn't say "snow bunny". The zips are key for touring and the waistband can be adjusted. I skied over 100+ days in them last season and they still look great - thumbs up for durability.

      Flattering and functional

      Quality Pants

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
      • Fit: Runs small

I bought the Bella Donna pants in Medium to replace my Flylow Gingers, also in Medium. I'm 5'4, athletic, and 135 lbs. The fit is much closer than the Gingers, the fabric more techy- it stretches and moves with you. I personally prefer the looser freeride fit of the Gingers, but it looks like Flylow is discontinuing that style next season. I love the dual open vents- they come in so handy when you're hiking, setting a bootpack, or working on a sunny day with heavyweight thermals on. They initially felt like they wouldn't hold up as well, but they still look great- the fabric shows very little signs of use and dirt doesn't seem to cling to the material like it does with some cordura. If I were to order them again I would probably size up to a Large for a comfier fit as they are a bit tight over my quads . I do wear kneepads when I'm working and the Medium accommodated the extra bulk, but seemed to cause the pants to ride up and made me look a little dorky. Definitely a quality product, and exactly what I've come to expect from the folks at Flylow.
