    Snow-ready.

Shovel snow off the driveway, and the Fjallraven Men's Yupik Insulated Parka will still be dry afterwards so you can take a snowy stroll with the family. Fjallraven equipped the Yupik with a waterproof breathable Hydratic membrane and fully taped seams to prevent a single snowflake from seeping through. Supreme Microloft insulation ensures warmth in winter's frigid temperatures. The Yupik's hood features a fashionable faux fur hood that you can remove for bluebird-but-brisk winter days. There are a plethora of pockets designed for electronics, valuables, and more.

    Warm but strange sizing

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Size Bought: large

I am 6'2" 198lbs, 32" waist usually 35 to 36" long in the arms. Jacket was really big in the body and short in the arms. Warm for sure in cold temps. Hood was not practical unless you are wearing a helmet of some sort. Great Customer Service in Allowing my Return/Exchange.

    Excellent winter coat!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: XL

The Yupik can handle anything Winter throws at you. I live in northern Vermont and this coat allows me to wear a tee shirt underneath when it is in the teens and the wind is howling. The hood is deep. The pockets are plentiful. The warmth is terrific. I am 5'10" and weigh 200 pounds. I bought the XL and I like it roomy. It's not too roomy. I wear it downtown. Walking the dogs. You name it. It is heavy. But I don't climb and I don't like lightweight flimsy coats. This is durable material. Well made.

    For my brother

I got this for my brother and let me tell you, it's amazing! This coat is heavy, substantial, and sharp. Super warm, functional pockets, and a plethora of optional holding locations for phones, wallets, passports. G1000 is durable and stylish.

Well thought out, warm & lots o' pockets

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times
      • Fit: Runs large
      • Size Bought: Small

Symmetrical internal pockets/features means that lefties can enjoy gasket holes for ear buds and all the convenience that us right handers take for granted. Related: I'm still finding pockets. Definitely high quality and well designed. As warm as you'd expect. Had it out in -14 with no problems. Material is sturdy, get a size smaller that your normal fit and what else... hmmmm... that's it. It doesn't suck.

Well thought out, warm & lots o' pockets

Well made, warm and lots of pockets

      • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
      • Fit: Runs large
      • Size Bought: Medium

This coat runs large. I am 6 feet 2 with 43 chest and the medium is perfect if the plan is to wear over a shirt or middle layer that is not too thick. Don't need too much layering as this is a warm coat.
Coat is nice and long in the back - another feature I like.
Tons of pockets, the only problem with pockets is the two media pockets on the inside (one on each side) will not accommodate a large phone like the iPhone 6+ or a Samsung Note. Plan on using one of the other pockets in this case. Have not tried the hood in a storm yet but it looks and feels awesome. Build quality is solid and coat pretty much says - Bring it on Winter!

      Unanswered Question

I live in Michigan and am looking for a coat that I can wear with a casual shirt underneath and still be warm during the dead of winter.

How warm is this coat and what temperatures is it designed for?

      Thank you!
