Improved Fit is a Dud
I have purchased several pairs of these pants and really liked them in the original sizing. For me, the new “improved fit” has now made one of my favorite pants no longer an option. The waist and seat dimensions have gotten smaller where the “slimmer fit” leaves less space for the thigh pockets, reduces functionality and simply does not fit (size 48 short). Improvements based on actual field use are welcome, but these changes seem fashion oriented. Why change what your customers love about your product? I sincerely hope the product development team takes note and reverts back to the original fit as there are other customers that have expressed the same thoughts. Cynically, it makes one wonder if a bean counter pitched a “data driven” algorithm that would justify less fabric for a better bottom line but resulted in bad news for the usability of the product.

Double colours
I dont know why Fjällräven use two different shades and colours on most pants, in my opinion it turns them visually into a cheap looking work pants. I wish there were more solid colours

Solid but flawed
Solid pants in fit and feel, loved them right up until they started falling apart. Unlike the unventilated version, the seat on the ventilated pants isn't actually reinforced, it's just a different color in the same weight of fabric. As a result, the seat wears out long before the rest of the pants. Likewise, the side vents are genuinely useful (if a little silly looking), but the zipper they chose is too small by half, so it failed after 18 months. Great design let down by a couple of cheaped out details in the seat and zipper. If I can get 4 years of hard work out of them instead of 2, they'd be worth the price tag.

Improved fit no longer fits
The pair i bought 2 years ago are my favorite pair. Wanted to get another, but now the improved fit completely doesnt fit. It's now either way too tight or way too big. Go back to the old fit!

Fjallraven Viddapro non-ventilated pants
Fjallraven fitting is tricky for me as I'm right in between sizes on these. They look well made but will not be used till next fall. Even the ventilated ones are too hot for summer wear. I wouldn't pay full price but was glad to get these on sale. Backcountry is great to deal with. I made it easy to exchange sizes.

Best pants ever.
First I got the Vidda Pro jacket and fell in love with the G-1000 material, then I realized there are Vidda Pro pants and had to get a pair. I got the first Vidda Pro Ventilated trousers three summers ago to match my jacket and they've been my favourite pants since. The material is sturdy without the bulk and when waxed it feels awesome. My favourite part besides their utility in camping/daily pocket stuff is how awesome these pants look. The bottom cuff can be tightened and can change the look of the pants giving you an alternate style on the go. The ventilation panels are really nice as well, I use them often during the summer, zippers hold up too. Easy recommend.

My all time favorite trouser
I bought these November 2021 and love them. They fit into my world of jeans as well as a couple other brands of active lifestyle pants, but are going to be replacing most of the others over time. They fit well. They’re durable beyond imagination. They shed liquids. The resisting snagging when hiking through cover. There’s nothing I don’t like about them. Oh… they’re COOL. I get more comments on them than any other wardrobe item.

Great pants but sizing is off
Great trousers but sizing is inconsistent. They are smaller in the waist than the Vidda pro lite pants. Even though they are the same size.

Sizing is disappointing, pants seem nice
Seem like they are well built. Too bad they cannot get sizing figured out. I am 6 foot 172lbs. I normally wear a 32 waist, 34 length. I first tried a 32 (waist) Regular (32 length). The length is fine but waist is tight all the way down through the hips. So standing upright is fine but going up steps or sitting in a vehicle is very uncomfortable. Since they don't make 33 waist I tried the 34 and I basically swim in these. So I need to find an alternative pant for trekking, which is disappointing.

Too tight
I've been trying to convince myself to love these pants for over a year now. But they are just style over substance, as in they look really great but they are incredibly uncomfortable and too tight for the size that I got. I got the EU 46, US 30"-31'", long, men's. Whenever I put on other pants I remember what wearing pants should feel like, as in it should not be noticed at all. But with these pants I'm always noticing how they're tight and the pockets are ridiculously inaccessible and tight. It is very hard to put anything inside of them and much less take them out. It actually causes me to be very angry sometimes as to how difficult the front pockets are to use. So if you're tall and slim like I am, avoid these pants unless you are completely dumb struck by the marketing as I was, but I guess I learned to my lesson
