    Make every beat count.

The Fit Bit Charge 2 HR Fitness Watch tracks every aspect of your active lifestyle, continuously measuring fitness sessions and daily activities. Like its predecessor, you'll find interchangeable bands for low-profile comfort and easy cleaning after sweaty workouts. The larger OLED display allows for tap navigation, allowing you to scroll through sub-menus with ease. Improved battery life lasts up to five days, depending on the activity settings used. Wireless syncing works harmoniously with Fit Bit's smartphone app, giving you in-depth analytical data of your workouts and daily activity.

PurePulse technology measures changes in blood flow with a pulsing LED along the underside of the watch, translating these metrics into your beats per minute. Continuous heart rate tracking delivers a better picture of your personalized health with simplified heart rate zones providing indicators to dial fitness back or bump it up a notch. The Cardio Fitness Score (similar to estimated VO2 max) tests your cardio ability against cohorts in your age range, allowing you to visualize progress in your running performance over time. Another cool feature is the Connected GPS capability, which provides real-time running stats like pace and distance directly to your wrist, with a map of your route for post-workout viewing.

Smartphone alerts deliver call, text message, and calendar notifications directly to your wrist, so you can stow your phone within a pack or back pocket. Another new feature is Guided Breathing, which measures your heart rate for personalized relaxation with deep breathing exercise. The FitBit Charge 2 is compatible with both iOS and Android devices, alongside Mac and Windows computers with the provided wireless dongle. Also, it comes with a charging cable for powering it from your computer or USB wall charger.

I've never been much of a watch-wearer, but I do like fitness stats and challenging myself, so I figured I could learn how to be a watch-wearer and I'm glad I did. The watch is comfortable and I forget that I have it on most days. It charges really quick (like maybe 30 mins for a full charge from zero), and I've gone 6 days without charging. Obviously there are a lot of different ways to use this device and all of the info it can give you. For what I do (tracking steps and exercise goals) it's great and I really like the app.

      Great Watch

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Love this watch I wear it any time I can. It looks great and it is small enough to not bug me but big enough to still give me all the information. Highly recommended.

      It's decent

I've had my Charge HR for the past year. I found it to be more of a fun gadget for checking how much energy I'm expending during the day. I have a job where I'm physically active most of the day with daily trips to the gym and/or rock climbing gym for workouts. I don't use it to track weight loss/management, etc.... While it is fun to use for the counter, I find the battery life to be lacking somewhat. I can go for maybe 2-3 days on one charge. Perhaps it is just me, but I'd like to get at least 5 days before charging. I also find that the heavier drain on my iPhone 6s is annoying when adding that bluetooth on all the time. At that point, it's more convenient to strap on my old Bertucci field watch. I'll run the FitBit occassionally, more when it suits my fancy.

      Love my Fitbit!

I treat'ed m'selt to a fitbit for my birthday and let's just say it keeps on giving and keeps me motivated to workout. I love the size, the stopwatch, and relaxation feature, along with the fat that I can see and track everything in the app!

      It is good

Got this for my 13 year old. It seems that all of his friends have them and love to use the social part of the Fitbit community to challenge each other. He has been obsessed with his activity level. He has been going strong for the last month or so. I don't see any signs of stopping. I asked him for a review. This is what he said.

"It is good. I like the display and it has accurate heart rate. It charges well and the band is good quality. It very easy to take on and off. It is quite comfy. The adjustment system is a little too coarse. It is either too tight of to loose. It is a good Fitbit overall."

      Absolutely In Love...

I bought this as a gift and the person I bought this for absolutely loves everything about it! They are constantly viewing the information it provides so they can continue to work on their health and balance their lifestyle.

It's fine as a gift but...

It's fine. UI seems great (probably the best on the market), I mean, it's excellent as a gift for some that do not does much exercise and/or does not need exact or 100% accurate results.

Integration with the phone works perfect and metrics display are easy to read (phone and using the OLED screen).

The "Breathing Sessions for relaxation" is something IMHO does not make sense or at least is something that people do not use a lot.

But, as you can see, is not waterproof, that means, goodbye swimming with it, and well for a raining country as Costa Rica, maybe not the best/first option if you spend much time outside.

Heart Rate Monitor is fine to check how are you after use the stairs, run or after a long walk.

Phone alert works fine. Sleep Tracking seems to work fine. It shows interesting data we probably will not notice that really happens when sleeps.

As I said, it's a good option as a gift for people that used to travel (to count steps) or that do not need extreme precision on exercise metrics.

It's fine as a gift but...

      Fitbit 2 Charge HR

I absolutely LOVE my new Fitbit!! Not only can I keep up with my heart rate during exercise and resting but it motivates me to keep pushing myself to that ultimate level! I love it!!!

I liked it but I didn't love it.

        • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
        • Fit: True to size

I have the fitbit flex and the fitbit charge was nice since you could seen your steps on the screen and see notifications without checking phone..but for me that was about the only difference I noticed. For the cost of the newer fitbits are a little much.

great for some, but I returned it.

I bought this thinking I would be into the Fitbit movement. But after I put it on I realized this is not my style. I wanted something that could track my bike/run/hike (but this piggy backs from your phone GPS). Once I learned it has to piggy back that was a deal ender. Might as well take my phone with me and use whatever apps I have on my phone.
I did like the look of this on my wrist. The message notification was a pretty cool perk.

        Looking cool and staying fit.

I got this for my mom for her birthday. It is way cooler than I expected. The data is easily digestable because of the awesome app it pairs with. Its also pretty awesome that you can read your texts and get call info on it. Overall this is a huge upgrade from the surge 2.
