    Works great!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I use this primarily with my ENO double nest and it fits well (disclaimer - I use my double with just me so I can wrap it around me, so I don't know how it fits with 2 people). I've read some people don't like the way it opens but I haven't found it to be a problem. It doesn't take any more time than unzipping. But I can see how if you are laying in your hammock more as a chair-style then you can't use this net. But using it solely for sleeping regularly or backpacking it does the trick well! And I like having less zippers to deal with personally. Zippers usually tend to catch and rip fabric in my experience. It's lightweight and intuitive to the rest of the ENO setup.

    Looks good

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I have not been able to take a hammock backpacking trip yet since ordering this. I ordered the whole kit: Eno double nest, Eno bug net, Eno tent, Eno underquilt, and atlas straps. The gear is what I expected and sets up nicely.

All the gear has a similar weight to my Big Agnes seedhouse 2. However, since there are no poles the gear can be moved around more in a backpack than a tent.

    Keeps bugs away

The quality and construction is good and what you'd expect from a major hammock brand like ENO.

I'm not sure how it fits with all the ENO hammocks, but I can say that on a Grand Trunk Double it seems to be a bit small. I feel a little claustrophobic, as mentioned by another reviewer, since there isn't much head room once installed. It also is about 2-3 inches shorter than I'd like when pulled over the hammock leaving a small opening at the end for bugs to possibly find their way in. I realize I'm not using a ENO hammock so it may be contributing to most of my issues.

I found the same to be true with the length/openings on the ends. 90% of the time the bugs weren't bad and it kept them all away. But a rainy night on Isle Royale (Michigan) brought out some serious mosquitoes and it left me stuffing clothing into the ends and pulling the draw cords shut to keep them out. And I was using an ENO single, too. I think you're right, if it were slightly longer you could really cinch the ends up securely. Overall, still a good net!

    Must have for summer camping!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This net works wonders. I don't know how I've gone without it all these years. It keeps the bugs out and makes for a sound night sleeping.

    Worth the price

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

It's easy to set up and to get in and out of. It definitely keeps the bugs out. My only complaint is it doesn't have a lot of space, and it can feel a little claustrophobic if you're using a topquilt and an underquilt.

    Must have

I spend most of my hammock time in Louisiana for quick trips. Mosquitos everywhere. This net is lightweight, packs down small, and works like a champ. Cant recommend it enough.
