    Balance in all things.

Continental's Grand Sport Race Tires are a study in balance. Their NyTech breaker mimics Kevlar's resistance to punctures but with a weight and rolling resistance that stay closer to the low levels we expect from racing tires. The Pure Grip Compound in their tread strikes a similar compromise, straddling the intersection of training durability, racing grip, and a price point that lets you run the tire for both applications without guilt. These features, combined with a 180 TPI casing, bring the Grand Sport Races to within 25 claimed grams per tire of the peloton favorite Conti 4000 S II while nearly cutting the price in half.

    Set it and forget it.

This is my go to road tire of choice. While not the lightest bell at the ball, it certainly is the most consistent. Be it rain, dirt, hot pavement, etc. These tires wear well, are puncture resistant and I am always amazed the miles I am able to get out of a pair,.

I wanted to ask if it would be possible to put a 700 x28 on a 29er mtn bike to make the mountain bike more friendly on road rides. I have a Trek/Gary Fischer Superfly 100 with stock 29er wheels.
      Thanks
      Matt
