Dog walking winter warmth
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced a Columbia winter jacket from 2001 with this great winter jacket. Love the blue color, hood, & warm insulation! It kept me warm while walking my dog this past winter. He loves to walk & it is a joy to be outdoors with him on long winter walks for weight control! I would recommend this jacket to everyone - I LOVE IT!!!

Warm and rugged
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Though winter is over we've had a few very cold days. This jacket never begins to let in any cold air. It's a bit longer than I have been wearing, and that extra few inches of warmth really makes a difference as well. I noticed the tightness under the arms that other reviewers mentioned. It is a bit annoying, though not critical. The coat is a little large on me, which was intentional. I'm between a M & L so went big in case I need to layer. I'm 5'6" 160. If I'd gotten the M, the tight armpits would have been a deal breaker. I like the way it fits, feels and looks. The hood is perfect - I keep it attached so it's there whenever I need it. My old Columbia jacket is 8 years old. I've worn it doing outside chores to the point that it's ripped beyond public decency. It's still perfectly serviceable and is my delegated farm work jacket. Comparing the two, this one has more rugged outside material. Both are a size L, but this new one is bulkier and longer. I do miss the long-leg look with the older, shorter jacket; but the trade off is more warmth and I'm all in.

Great coat

Love my new winter coat!
