Columbia built these pants around a waterproof, breathable shell with fully seam-sealed construction so wet snow and wind stay on the outside regardless of conditions. The thermal reflective lining adds meaningful warmth on frigid lift rides without adding bulk, trapping body heat close when the temperature drops and the wind picks up at the top of the lift.

The fit is designed around how skiers actually move. Articulated knees reduce resistance when driving through bumps or dropping into a steep pitch, and the lower leg gusset adds room at the boot without letting the pant flap loose. Belt loops and an adjustable waist accommodate different layering setups, and the internal leg gaiter seals the gap between pant and boot so slush and packed snow stay out.
