The Chaco ZX/2 Classic Sandal comfortably cradles our feet on all of our summer adventures, from paddling class IV rapids to just kicking back with a beer by the fire. The double-strapped webbing lets us lock in a custom fit, while the toe loop helps secure our foot for short scrambles down the river bank. So comfy
I was super nervous about spending this kind of money on a sandal but I’m so in love with them. They are so incredibly comfortable and I can actually walk long distances in them without getting blisters or having feet issues. I’m planning on wearing them on my cruise to the Bahamas

I wouldn’t risk this toe strangulation device
Love the sole, HATE the straps- they were complicated to adjust and need constant adjusting so that my big toe is not constantly strangled. My first pair of tacos was one of the most comfortable pairs of shoes I have ever owned-fixed my plantar fasciitis. The last two pairs I have bought (flip flops and these) have been awfully uncomfortable. I never thought I would have to call a shoe unmanageable. Chaco, stick with what works- Looks like you are getting bad reviews on some of your new ideas.

great sandals
Always love Chacos and these are no different. Been wearing them for almost 20 years and quality is spot on for me. I especially love the colors and double straps.

Are Chacos shorter in length???
Should be a 5 but I ordered a new pair of these in black because my old pair the straps were fading after wearing them everywhere for 5+ years. Still very comfortable. The new pair size 7 were a little shorter than my original pair. I would like to order a pair of classic flip flops but not sure if I should get the 7 or 8. I noticed on the flip flop reviews someone had mentioned their new pair of flip flops were shorter than their old pair. I’m afraid the 8 will be too big. Are they making their sandals/ shoes shorter??? Best bet is to go to a store to try them on.

Great sandals, must read instructions for adjusting the strap. Once the straps are adjusted to your liking, you won’t want to take them off!

Toe stranglers
I purchased these in 2019 and after fussing way too much with the straps each and every time I wear them so that my big toes don’t feel like they are being strangled, I gave them to my daughter. She loved them and tried to wear them but has the same complaint. They are so cute but ugh are they uncomfortable moments after you put them on!

Small…
Site says to size down if you’re a half size. This was way wrong in my case. Definitely needed to size up, so I had to return. Have not rebought at this time
