Kids Purple' Goggles

Clear lenses work best for indoor pools, while mirrored or tinted lenses reduce glare for bright beach days; mirrored lenses often have a VLT under 20% for strong sunlight. Anti-fog treatments also help during extended play or practice.

Test fit by pressing the lenses gently to your child’s face for 5–10 seconds to check for a light suction without pain, and watch for gaps around the seal. Toddlers benefit from flexible frames like Finis Frogglez that pair with simple pull straps for easier on/off.

Polarized lenses improve clarity and reduce reflective glare on variable water surfaces, making them a strong choice for outdoor use. Mirrored lenses cut down bright light even more, especially when they have a VLT under 20%.

Look for OTG (over-the-glasses) models if your child needs to wear glasses under goggles, or choose goggles that accept prescription inserts for a cleaner fit. For juniors who want wide sightlines, models like the Aqua Sphere Kayenne Jr offer panoramic vision while accommodating accessory options.

Polycarbonate lenses offer impact resistance and work well against chlorine exposure, and many goggles include anti-scratch coatings to extend lens life. Anti-fog treatments typically last 6–12 months with proper care, so rinse and dry lenses gently after use to preserve the coating.
