Black Clip & Fit Kits

Check your vehicle’s fit guide to be sure; many vehicles require a specific kit for bare roofs, integrated flush rails, or fixed points/T-tracks. Yakima Q-Clips often come as front- and rear-specific pieces that need to be paired, so verify both positions rather than assuming a universal fit.

Clamp kits secure Evo or Edge Clamp Foot Packs to smooth, naked roofs while Flush Rail Kits attach to integrated side rails, and Fixpoint Kits mount to pre-installed fixed points or T-tracks. Thule clamp SKUs (5000–5099) and the Thule fixpoint 187 series reflect those distinct applications.

Many kits are designed for tool-free setup using custom clips and rubberized pads that snap into place for a quick install. The Thule Evo Clamp system integrates with foot packs like 710501, which streamlines the process for most naked-roof cars and SUVs.

Thule construction combines corrosion-resistant metals with custom-molded plastic clips and rubberized pads to grip metal roofs and resist deterioration. That blend of materials helps the Fixpoint Kit 187 series and similar kits hold up to long-term exposure and road salt.

Thule systems support dynamic loads up to about 165 lbs when properly installed, making them suitable for everyday driving, camping, and watersports gear. Yakima Q-Clips offer versatile vehicle-specific attachment points across 100+ models, but always confirm the fit guide for your vehicle and intended load.
