Good work shorts.
Comfortable and practical. Lots of pocket storage for work.

These are well made, heavy duty shorts. Sure to last years.

Skip them.
Unlike any Carharts I've bought before, these shorts are not true to size.

Suspender wearers and bubble butts only
The shorts are super well constructed and durable, and I really like that there's a reinforced flat area on the front pockets for knives/tools, but between the extremely heavy fabric and all the pockets, you better have a bubble butt or be a suspender wearers if you expect these things to fit securely. They just slide down alllll day for me.

Great shorts!!!!! Worth getting
Nice fit and feel while new and these shorts continually impress me. Comfortable, decent looking and well (enough) appointed. Good pocket coverage with a really good phone pocket. One complaint on pockets is the lack of reinforcement for a pocket knife in the front pockets that other Carhartt shorts have. This is a big miss. And lowers it to a 4.5. Wish there was a size 37.

Size matters
I wish I could get other shorts in a 35" waist. I prefer the multiple tool and utility pockets to the cargo (flap) pockets. This will do for now, but I'll look for alternatives. In the mean time, hoping Carhartt adds some intermediate (odd) size options in popular size ranges.

Best pockets
The flaps on the cargo pockets are cut slightly narrower than the pockets to make them tuckable which is a highly underrated and unmentioned feature that I love

Too $hort
OK, they fit good there may good but they're not long enough. I mean they're 8 inches the same to 80s anymore.

Recent shorts purchase
The size is not the same as i would wear for pants. Have to return and get a bigger size.

Durable quality
Very satisfied with is purchase. More pocket compartments than I expected, but it's a plus. Fits as expected. Excellent product. These pants will probably last longer than me.
