Photon Express KS Quickdraw - 6-Pack

SphereLock is a unique design feature of our carabiners that prevents snagging when clipping or unclipping the rope. Its keylock nose design eliminates protruding parts, making it easier and safer to use. This means you can focus on your climb without worrying about your gear getting caught, enhancing both your performance and safety.

The Karstop Evo is a retainer that keeps the carabiner in the correct position on the dogbone. This stability is crucial while climbing, as it prevents the carabiner from shifting or moving around. With the Karstop Evo, you can ensure a secure connection, allowing for smoother and safer clipping during your ascent.

A dogbone is the webbing that connects two carabiners in a quickdraw. It is designed to be both strong and lightweight, enabling climbers to easily clip their rope into the carabiners. The dogbone plays a vital role in providing a secure connection to the climbing route, ensuring your safety as you climb.

A quickdraw is a piece of climbing equipment that consists of two carabiners connected by a dogbone. It is used to connect the climbing rope to protection points, such as bolts, on the climbing route. Quickdraws allow for easy clipping and unclipping of the rope, which is essential for maintaining safety and efficiency while climbing.

Clipping refers to the action of attaching the climbing rope to a carabiner or other protection point. This is a critical part of climbing safety, as it secures the rope to the climbing route and helps prevent falls. The ease of clipping can significantly impact your climbing performance, making it essential to choose gear that facilitates smooth and secure clipping.

Features like SphereLock, Karstop Evo, and the design of quickdraws and dogbones are all engineered to enhance safety while climbing. By minimizing snagging, ensuring stability, and facilitating easy clipping, these elements work together to reduce the risk of accidents and improve your climbing experience. Investing in gear with these features means you can climb with greater confidence and focus on your performance.
