    Support Mitt

Because young wrists and learning to snowboard don’t always mix, the Burton Kids’ Support Mitts give your grom’s wrists a removable plastic support system that helps prevent sprains and breaks that can dent your kid’s confidence. A water-resistant DRYRIDE Ultrashell and DRYRIDE Insane membrane deliver water-resistance, while Thermacore insulation gives this mitt enough warmth for energetic sessions on the hill. Burton also added a brushed microfiber lining for warmth as well as moisture-wicking properties to keep small hands from getting sweaty and cold.

    Support on the top

I thought that the support would be on the palm side, but actually it is on the top of the hand. How does this help break a childs fall? Adult have wrist guards on the bottom of the hand, so why is this on top?

    Didn't fit my kids

I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    Runs small

They were too small and narrow for my 11 year old boys.

    Seatbelts for your hands

Like seat belts for your hands. Stealth support meets waterproof warmth. Low-profile removable internal support system. Ergonomic articulated left and right fit.

what size would fit for my 5 year old...

what size would fit for my 5 year old daughter?

If she is a relatively small 5 year old I would suggest the XS. If she is moderate sized for her age and you would like them to fit a couple seasons then I would order the S.
