A little noisy but good

Toe box is roomy, rest of the shoe has good snugness. Sole is a bit on the stiffer side as you'd expect from a max cushion shoe. Sole makes alot of noise when conta ting pavement relative to other brands.

Cushioning was great. Not too soft or firm.

This shoe could be amazing. As a runner that began my journey in Brooks, I am always trying to return to the brand. The main issue to me is the drop. If this shoe would stay under a 40mm stack height and have a drop in the 6-8mm range, it would be a home run. I compete in Ironman that follows the road racing rules but is more vocal with the stack height. This is beginning to be a new challenge with the brands increasing stack across the board.

Exceeded Expectations

Excellent. Light and comfortable shoe, and the Feliz colors are awesome.

Glycerin 22 Improved

I started wearing Glycerins about a dozen years ago, 2 pairs per year, as my daily walkers, 3 to 5 miles per day. I used to wear the narrow size, but Brooks did away with the narrow size, and asked me to try the medium size....I learned my left foot is narrower than my right foot, so with the easy to adjust lacing system, just had to tighten the left side a little more than the right. This year, I ordered the Glycerin 22's. These shoes are easier to put on and remove due to an improved lacing system. Their shock absorption is great. and these shoes look good.

Great work shoe if you stand all day!

I am not a runner, but I love Brooks for my job. I typically stand 10-12 hours a day. My go to is Brooks Revel line, but I decided to try the Glycerin 22 for a little add comfort. In my opinion they are great. They are super soft and really comfortable. The size seems true to other Brooks shoes I own.

Underwhelming

Full disclosure, Brooks has always been my personal gold standard for running shoes. This model falls flat though. I've been running in these for 3mo now (average 35-40 miles a week). They seem to be lesser quality than previous models of this shoe that I've owned. I've also experienced foot pain with these shoes. They've been my exclusive running shoe, and with this model I have developed inflammation of my plantar facia that I am now needing to remedy - which is odd because brooks has been known to be great for those with PF. If you have PF or struggle with it, I would avoid these. Another issue I have is that the tongue is very plush, it pushes through the laces when you tie it, and leaves not feeling secure? The toe box feels very narrow too, and I purchased the wide option. It's almost as if tapers too soon? This leads to food pain in the toes and side of my feet.

The best Glycerins yet!

An outstanding running shoe. I bought the 22s ro replace my high mileage 21s (which in themselves were amazing) and they seem to somehow be better at everything! Super comfortable, secure and lightweight, I absolutely LOVE them for short or long runs. The new heel tag (whilst seemingly innocuous) is a lovely addition too, makes things easier.

Comfortable cushioning

Very comfortable. On my feet all day on a thin carpet covered slab and these have helped with low back discomfort.

Aurora Black

Brooks are always a great choice but this new color, Aurora Black, is amazing, it changes color based on the viewing angle, super cool! Thanks for such great service over the phone!
