Neutral shoe with wet weather protection.
With your sights set on a marathon in March, it's safe to say that you'll be working through most of those long training runs outside. And unless you live in a desert, winter weather is bound to come knocking. However, with the Brooks Women's Ghost 10 GTX Running Shoe on your side, you'll be able to combat slush, snow, and moisture thanks to the shoe's Gore-Tex liner.
If you're unfamiliar with Gore-Tex, all you need to know is that it provides waterproof protection, breathes well, and defends your foot, so it's ideal for wet conditions like those that often occur in damp climates like Seattle or the Northeast. The engineered mesh provides a secure, structured, and stretchy fit so the shoe moves with you. A BioMoGo DNA midsole attenuates shock, disperses impact, and provides a springy, cushioned feel underfoot, while the Segmented Crash Pad flexes and adapts to each foot fall to promote smooth transitions. Additionally, the Omega Flex Grooves at the forefoot of the sole help you optimize on your own dexterity, so you're able uptick your cadence quickly and easily.

- Q & A
I can stand all day
I bought a pair or these as a present for my mother who was getting fatigue in her feet when having to stand for extended periods of time. After buying these for her I have been told that her feet feel great and she is able to stand longer with no fatigue in her feet.
