    Just Keep Cruising.

You're certainly not afraid of mixing your peas and mashed potatoes, so it's no surprise that you prefer your trail running pursuits to include a little bit of everything. So when your objective entails thickly forested steeps and rocky outcrops alike, make sure you reach for the Brooks Women's Cascadia 12 Trail Running Shoe. Designed with input from seasoned ultra runner Scott Jurek, the Cascadia 12 features an updated Pivot system and redesigned upper that bolster its workhorse adaptability.

The upper is equipped with a breathable mesh that manages moisture to keep you dry and comfortable when the conditions are anything but mild, while the strategically placed overlays, splints, and heel cup provide torsional support and a structured feel. Additionally, the upper now features a more substantial toe guard to protect your metatarsals from harmful obstacles and the inevitable too-tired-to-run toe stub. The pivot system doubles as suspension for your foot, and a fifth pivot point at your first metatarsal offers a more energetic flex and toe-off, allowing you to optimize your transitions and make the most out of a slogging-hard situation. Meanwhile, the BioMoGo DNA midsole attenuates shock, disperses impact, and adapts to every step, and the full-length, segmented crash pad allows your foot to make a smooth landing and smooth transitions. A ballistic rock shield defends you from sharp, potentially harmful obstacles, and the rugged outsole has newly rearranged lugs to maintain more traction underfoot without bruising your foot or causing discomfort.

    • The possibilities are endless with this trail running shoe
    • Mesh upper offers breathability and torsional support
    • BioMoGo DNA midsole absorbs shock and adapts to terrain
    • Pivot Post system doubles as suspension system
    • Full-length crash pad promotes smooth transitions

    • Rugged outsole rips and grips wet and technical surfaces

Bought these for my wife and she loves them. Wears them mostly for casual hikes and some trail running. She's prone to knee pain and is picky about her footwear and says these are great.

I've purchased many pairs of Cascadias over the years, and they're always my favorite trail shoes. Great grip on rocks and gravel.

    Great Trail Shoe!

This is my wife's 3rd pair of cascadia's and she hasn't had any knee issues. They have great traction and work great on all types of terrain. Out of all trail shoes she has had, these are her favorite! Fit true to size.

I have used these shoes for many years. This model seems to have less cushion and my foot tends to slip side to side a bit. I usually never use insoles however may have to try.

I've always loved Brooks so when I moved to Utah I decided it was time to try out the famous Brooks Cascadias and as usual, Brooks is amazing! I do a lot of trail running and hiking and these are perfect for those runs where there's a lot of climbing and descending because of the cushion, traction and support. I feel like I have good traction going up, good cushion to protect me on the way down and good support on really rocky terrain. A friend told me that they would be too much cushion for me but I disagree. I really like the cushion on these. I have really bad plantar fasciitis so stepping on rocks and really long runs can be really painful. There is enough cushion on these to relieve some of that pain. On days when it hurts more than usual or if I'm going on a really long run on a more technical trail, I'll wear my Curex insoles in them for even more relief and cushioning. I also LOVE the colors! If I had to find something to complain about I would say they're not as wide as I would really like and the laces aren't very long. But, the width hasn't caused me any problems so far and even though it's tight, I can still manage a little bow.

One of the best on the market

These are such a solid trail running shoe! I've been going to the same running shoe guy for the past 7 years and he says that if he just had this trail running shoe in his store, it's all he would need. It's been the same design for the past 20 years, with just a few minor tweaks with each new design they come out with. Excellent grip, great support and there are a lot of extra perks to it, like a plate under the foot to keep pointy rocks from jabbing you while you're crushing the trail. It stands up well to a lot of use. Can't say enough! A little tip, I would always size up a full size from your street shoes (if you're in between sizes, a half a size my be fine), when you're doing trail and road running, gives your feet extra room for swelling and any friction that may cause blisters. I am usually always an 8 1/2 in my casual/street shoes and I got a 9 1/2 in these and they fit perfect.
