Why We Like The BOTE Bucket Rac
A smaller version of the Tackle Rac, the Bote Bucket Rac wraps around a standard five-gallon bucket or KULA Cooler to secure them to our Rac-compatible Bote board. This adds convenient storage for our fishing rods, nets, and live bait—or our favorite beverages. It also secures a bucket, so it can double as an impromptu seat for long days on the water.
The Bucket Rac is compatible with the following Bote paddle boards: Flood Gatorshell, HD Gatorshell, Traveller Epoxy, and Rackham Gatorshell. It's also compatible with the Rover Gatorshell and Rover Aero micro skiffs, the Zeppelin Aero inflatable kayak, and the Flood Aero, HD Aero, Traveller Aero, and Rackham Aero inflatable paddle boards.

False impressions

Bucket Rac works great!

Poor craftsmanship
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The bucket rack “receivers” (for fishing poles) are not welded onto the rack in a symmetric orientation. This results in one of the receivers being unusable as it is “covered” by the seat. The rack is incredibly overpriced in my opinion but it is a very cool option so I was willing to pay the premium. For this price, however, it needs to be manufactured correctly. This is just poor quality control. To be fair, I have not yet contacted Bote about this issue - hopefully they will replace it with one that is not defective.

Game changer!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I honestly thought I had everything I needed to have the perfect day on my paddle, board, but I was wrong. The bucket rac has changed the game for me. Super high quality, light and a beautiful color and profile, make the bucket rac a must have accessory for your board. No more strapping the Kula down and no more worrying about my fishing pole falling off my paddle board. Thank you Bote!
