Dont let the snow stop you from doing what you love.

Black Diamond adventurers made the Talus Gaiter out of hardshell and softshell material to maximize breathability and durability while you run, hike, or trek through the snow. A hook and loop closure with a button secures these lightweight, top-of-boot gaiters comfortably on your calf for long journeys through the snow.

    Almost perfect

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I had a tough time finding a flaw with these gaiters. Perhaps the lace strap would be my only complaint. I didn't even use them as I knew the trails I'd be walking would shred them in an instant. Then again, would BD really put a crappy strap on these when everything else seems so perfectly designed for the purpose? In the end I didn't even need to use the lace strap as the gaiter snugly fit my hiking boots. I used these for over 60 miles of hiking over very rough, dusty terrain and they performed admirably. I washed them on return and they look basically new. Another quality BD product in my collection.

    Great Gaiters!

Nice low easy to pack gaiter. I use trail running shoes for backpacking, so these add a layer of protection without adding a lot of weight. Easy to get on and off.

Anyone have problems/success with this gaiter? Haven't used a BD product before... looking for lightweight.

I've had these for a year and have worn them extensively in the Wasatch and on Mt.Rainier. In slushy wet snow or in deep pow I prefer a taller gaitor but these are perfect and light weight for most conditions. I dig em!
