Great Bag very comfy
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
Bought this bag for Trail running on the Appalachian Trail and short two day trips overnight. I wanted a bag that I could run with and carry my camera gear up to the views on the trail that wouldn't beat the crap out of me and my gear. This bag sinches up all of your gear and on you amazingly. I put this bag through the ringer for the month I was out running different sections of the trail. This bag was covered in sweat, rained on, tied to a tree, thrown over tree limbs, stuffed full of and had gear tied all over it and I just threw it in the shower and it looks brand new. Next trip will be a mountain bike treck through the desert but I fell this bag will do just fine.
I bought this backpack for day hiking in the White mountain national forest. I wanted the extra room so I could carry extra water and cold weather clothing. The weather in these mountains, especially the presidential range, has the worst weather in the country. I've used this pack for two years, it's traveled many miles on my back. So far it's holding up very well. The reactive suspension is amazing it moves with you while keeping the pack centered on your back. I think that is the best feature of this pack, it's very comfortable!! The pack is big and can carry a lot of gear, clothing or whatever you need! Sometimes I carry two water bladders and i still have room for clothes and food.
The open air back panel does work. It's the only pack I've worn that feels comfortable against my back.
To sum it up, black diamond has made a great pack and I love mine! It is the best pack I own and I own five. I highly recommend this pack!! Hope this helps
