Organization can make or break your route. Having your rack organized by color really makes a difference! The neutrino rack pack is the affordable way to do that! Can’t go wrong here!

Love these!

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

So full disclosure: I don't use these for climbing. I'm a boulderer, but haven't yet transitioned to anything else. But I wanted some tough, decent sized carabiners to use to attach gear, or for any other in-camp need (like hanging something up, bear bags, what have you). Also for clipping gear to the outside of packs or my pants. It's amazing how often one can be useful. I looked into other brands (nite ize) but I didn't want any locks or something too small. For the price point this is a good set! I have a couple saved for daypacks, one on my backpacking pack, and extra in my camping kit. I even use one as a keychain now. So great!

Can't Go Wrong With Black Diamond

I use them for everything! My keys, clipping my chalk bag to my harness to clipping my dogs hiking water bowl to my pack. I would definitely recommend these!

Great versatility

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

These carabiners are great for racking cams as they match up perfectly with the BD C4 0.5-3 sizes. Now that many other cams are sticking with that same color pattern, these carabiners work well with many other cams besides Black Diamond's. Can also be used with alpine draws and just about anything else as their performance is top of the line.

Great for lots of stuff

I used these for my c4 cams, making alpine draws and even holding my chalk bag. Love these!

Rack 'Em Up!

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

I use these to rack my camalots and keep everything color coded, and they do their job well. I find that they're just a little bit smaller than I'd like in order to handle comfortably, and sometimes the nose snags on things, but those are sacrifices you make for lightweight, cheap biners. If you want to spend a little more and avoid the nose snags, go get the BD Oz, which is basically the same thing but with a wire over the nose.

How long are these? I can see 9 on the tape but I doubt that's in inches. Thank you

The dimensions of these carabiners are 9 x 5.5 cm.

Does anyone have an issue while clipping the rope? They seem small. What about with double ropes?

Fine, but not great for a single rope. Can't speak to use with a double. Most small carabiners don't have great gate action, but they'e shaped well to hold the rope without any problems.

I wouldn't use them for sport draws, but no issues with single or twin ropes. Clipping speed isn't usually the thing holding you back on trad.

So... are this biners qualified for trad climbing? Or should i bought the rack just to organize my cams?

Jonathan, Explain "qualified." Yes, these will work for racking gear, attaching to pro, and for saving your life. They're super convenient and lighter than most biners, which is wonderful. I myself have about ten of them for cams and a few favorite stoppers. Happy trails!

I would add that these biners are smaller than average (one reason they are so light) which makes them slightly more difficult in some situations. Those situations might be: tripling up a double length sling, clipping bolts, clipping your rope or any situation where you have more than one piece of webbing/rope going through the biner. They are really light and the color coding is really useful (though unnecessary). I use them for my racking my cams but not for slings/runners.

I know the description says that there is a green biner, but the photo looks like it has two grey. Can anyone confirm the green one?

It's kind of a sea green, and the photo has weird reflections. It's green though, don't you worry....they match the colors of the Camalots so they're easier to find. Same green.
