Easy and breezy

This vest is extremely lightweight, gives visibility for early morning runs, and allows for enough hydration for a longer run! I love the water pouch inserts and even use these when on the treadmill because they are so comfortable.

Pole carry not comfortable

Loved the color, but I bought the pack specifically for the pole carry option. While I loved the idea of it, it didn’t work for me. Because the bottom pole connector is toward the front side of the vest, it actually cause the vest to pull up on the bottom once the poles were flipped to the back. I used the LEKI Z-poles specific for trail running, so they weren’t especially heavy. I think the idea for the pole carry (connect in front, flip to the back) is fabulous, but would recommend make the connection in the bottom more toward the back so it doesn’t pull the front of the vest up. I’m hoping they come out with a 2.0 version of this vest with the pole connector improved. Oh, and the mesh is a bit scratchy on the pack when it hits the skin on your neck. If we could get softer mesh or a soft fabric that lined the seams…that would be great.

Love these!

I had been wanting to get a running hydration pack for a long time. Finally, I got this one and I love it. It fits great and I don't even feel like I'm wearing it! The flasks make water taste plastically at first but gets better overtime. Otherwise it's been perfect so far. I use for both running and hiking.

Great vest, definitely should size up if you can

For being a women's specific running vest there is definitely not a ton of boob room. I typically wear a size medium or large shirt, 34D. Because of how slim fitting this is the soft flasks are practically in my armpits and they rub when I'm running. Ignoring sizing this vest is awesome! Perfect pockets, holds mid layer that I take off, headlamp, epipen, light snack, InReach, and my phone. Wish sizing was more accurate or more sizes. I think I would label the large as a medium and make more. Might buy mens XL next if the whole 'flask in the armpit' situation annoys me enough. I am confident that I will need a bigger sizer for anything more than a thin base layer this winter.

Super comfortable vest

So far this vest has been great. Really comfortable. It fits well and doesn’t move around a ton. I really like the shorter coverage in the back compared to some larger capacity vests I have. I was worried the pockets would be on the smaller size but I can carry snacks and my phone no problem.

Love the vest, it's not bouncy and very comfortable.

The vest is very comfortable and has so many easy-access pockets. Love running with it.

This vest is perfect

I LOVE this vest. I've now done multiple 2-4 hour mountain runs with this vest and it is so great. Holds both flasks, multiple gels and snacks, phone, small bear spray, windbreaker, gloves, hat and trekking poles no problem. It's also great when it's not fully loaded - I often do my 1-2 hours runs with just one of the bottles, my phone and a gel or two and it still feels great. The color (dark patina) is fantastic. The design is simple and straightforward. The chest buckles make for a very adjustable and snug fit and the multiple attachment points can be moved around so you can really dial your fit. I am super impressed with the trekking pole attachment system. I was skeptical, but it's so easy to use without ever taking the vest off and I didn't even feel my trekking poles when I wasn't using them they were so nice and snug. I would say the sizing is true to size, for reference, I'm 5' 7", 170lbs, 36D, generally wear a women's large, sometimes medium and the large fits perfectly. I only have 2 complaints about this vest - I definitely can't wear it with just a sport bra - have to be wearing a tshirt at least because it does give me some chaffing hot spots. So, the inner material could be a bit softer. And my only other complaint is that this doesn't come in a slightly bigger size. I know there's a distance 8 backpack, but I prefer vests and would definitely buy a slightly bigger straight-up vest version to have in the quiver for longer or colder days when more layers are required. Basically take this exact same vest and add one more chest pocket on the right side and a larger or additional pocket on the back to hold just slightly more gear. And please make it in fuschia when you do. ;)

Comfort for women who run with bear spray canister - please provide your experience

I carry bear spray during the months when bears are active, so I'm interested in knowing whether it's comfortable with that hard canister against one's chest/breast or, better, that it's (the canister) slightly to the side. I found, for example, the old Salomon pack was great, whereas UltraAspire was rubbish for that purpose. Thanks for any help you can offer!

Light and comfortable

I love the size of this pack! It doesn't bounce with full water and has plenty of pockets and room for a windbreaker and snacks. It's nice that it comes with the water bottles and I'm happy to see the upgrade on the clasp for a bladder. I'm planning on using it all summer long!

Love this vest

I did my first long run in the mountains with this vest and I loved it. It was comfortable, had plenty of accessible mesh storage for gloves, a light shell, front water flasks, my phone, and other odds and ends. I used the pole carry and it worked well. It wasn’t any more or less convenient than other pole carrys I have tried, but they did feel secure and didn’t bounce around, which was my primary concern before using it. Going back to comfort, this fit over my average size torso and average bust very comfortably. It’s my first time trying a women’s specific vest and I would definitely lean toward a women’s specific vest going forward based on the comfort upgrade.
