A compact and versatile on-route pack.
Black Diamond designed its Creek 20 Backpack to be a simple, burly, and versatile on-route pack that can be worn or hauled up the wall. It's made from a stout 1200D polyester with a TPU coating to protect your gear, but also sports a molded back panel with padded shoulder straps and hip belt to keep it comfortable both during the approach and on the wall. The haul-bag-style base keeps the pack upright when you're loading the it up, and the zippered front flap pocket grants access to internal organizer pockets where topo maps and food can be stored. Black Diamond also attached two top grab handles that double as haul points along with stowable shoulder straps and a removable hip belt for smooth and easy hauling.

- Q & A
It's a crag pack
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
It's a bit small but fits you and your partner's gear for a day of sport climbing. Won't fit a wide rack unless you start clipping things to the outside, so maybe not the best for those days of chasing off width.
Great day pack
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Aweaome little bag. I have taken this through some slot canyons, and hauled it up a climb. Super tough material, enough space for some gear and food. Great day pack.
