Simple is often the best!
Over the years there has been an explosion of tech development; some things have improved life and others just complicate. The Cosmo 350-R is the perfect blend, giving you a functional rechargeable light without irrelevant bells and whistles. It works well and doesn't need disposable batteries, what more do you need?

Nice smooth beam
I really like the smooth beam from this headlamp and appreciate the rechargeable batteries as well. The 350 lumen rating is plenty of light for most conditions.

Best headlamp I’ve owned
So easy to use, rechargeable, very bright if needed but dims quickly. Used this to do field work with bats and was bright enough to check nets and can be quickly dimmed or put in red mode to minimize disturbances. Highly recommend

Great headlamp
I have 4 black diamond headlamps. I bike ride with one. It stays with my bike for my work commute. I have one on my search and rescue helmet. I use it for hiking into the field. I also use it for repelling over the side of cliffs on car wrecks. I have one in my truck for all purpose use. And i have a backup that my daughter is currently using on dog walks. Love the red light. And love how adjustable the brightness is. All my lights are still working great. Oldest one is close to 10 years old and going strong.

So much to like
So much to like: great 1500 mAh battery and good light output, but stupid micro-USB charging port. Please change to USB-C and improve the drop rating to 2 meters. And as long as I’m dreaming, please improve the weather rating.

Great headlamp
This is perfect for backpacking due to it's weight and how long the battery lasts, but Black Diamond needs to get with the times and put a USB-C charging port on it. Every other small electronic I have can recharge on that cable, and when I'm counting grams I end up bringing my NiteCore headlamp because it is similar without needing another power cord.

Perfect Headlamp!
After years of service my previous headlamp finally called it quits, it was a bruiser, but checking and changing batteries is not ideal. I am so happy to have a rechargeable headlamp and ready put this thing to good use!
