Black Crows built the Atris Birdie Ski for the skier who wants a real big mountain ski scaled down without losing an ounce of personality. It floats confidently through deep snow thanks to a 105mm waist, while the double rocker profile makes pivoting and smearing through trees and tight terrain feel almost effortless despite the width underfoot. A slightly straighter sidecut adds stability at speed, so the ski feels just as composed opening up on a wide face as it does threading a narrow line.

Underneath the topsheet, a poplar wood core delivers a damp, controlled feel, while fiberglass laminates add torsional stiffness and edge hold without weighing the ski down in the air or on a skin track. Semi-cap construction with full-length ABS sidewalls gives the build more commitment than most skis at this width, and a firm but progressive flex stays forgiving in chop without giving up the structure needed on steeper, faster terrain.
