Support has to be great for bad quality
Biolite stuff is really great unless you actually use it. I’ve had 4x 330 headlamps fail within a few months. My Biolite stove battery stopped charging almost right away. I just bought a headlamp 330 and it doesn’t hold a charge. I wouldn’t want to be out in the middle of nowhere with their stuff. It’ll probably fail. poor quality control for their Chinese manufacturing.

The stove control module overheat
I bought this stove and use it for the first time. I have been using various brand of reputable wood stoves. Yes, like most reviewers, the stove need lot of practice to start up. Also most scary part is the electric module kinda overheat and the fan automatically turn up the highest without any adjustments. I quick tear down the stove and put out all the hot ashes. So that the electricity module can cook down. I couldn’t off it and put falr away from my camp for fear of explosion…

Great wen it works - need spare parts
I purchased this as a backup system to heat water and cook with maybe charge a phone. I have pulled it out 3-4 time per year to fire it up and make sure it works. I tried this year and the battery is flat as a pancake and is not charging via USB. I picked up a new battery thinking that was the issue but that one is not working either. I suspect the charging circuit is failing. I would love to buy a new CS2 v9 or later board to get it working again but no parts are around.

A life saver with a couple small catches
Firstly this thing is durable, ive given it a beating, caught it on fire, overheated it a couple times (dont recommend) but its still kicking and functions exactly the same. The only real downsides to this device is 1. It doesnt charge quite as fast as i would like given most devices have 4k mah batteries now, which is around double what the capacity was for phones when this stove was originally released. And 2 its slightly on the heavy side for backpacking. I would like to if anything, see a larger version working on the same principles for homesteading.

Cannot charge my phone very well
If I charge my mobile phone when I make a fire, the power generated will not maintain its normal operation, and it is not enough to charge the mobile phone device when the stove is fully charged.
