I Love These
I love these. Very easy to use. Love the light emitted. Many uses, including positioning in various locations in backyard on special nights.

Handy & versatile
This little lamp is perfect for travel! No bedside lamp? No problem! The elastic cord is big enough to slip around a couple of fingers or a tent pole, & stows very cleverly. It’s also a handier flashlight than the iPhone: the light is bright or dim or colored(!) & you won’t have to search for the cord to plug it back in. I have all 3 sizes of the Alpenglow lamp now & I use them all, just about every day.

Great for around the house!
My wife and I are both use AG Mini around the house for mood lighting in the living room during movies or on the deck after dark. We will definitely take it out camping.

Nice mini light
This mini is good, with warm light. I also have 500, and of course, mini’s battery life is much shorter. It’s good.

Easy to use
This is a great little light that is so easy to take along almost anywhere. It can be used for lighting or for decoration with the color changing modes. It is also very versatile for hanging in different ways if just setting it down isn't advisable in a location.

My House Is Lit By Mini
My husband and I don't like the bright white lights in our small rental unit, so we tried using our AlpenGlow Mini as an evening and morning light and found we loved it. We now have them in our kitchen, bedroom, and even bathroom for easing in and out of our day!

Lots of options and sizes - Alpenglow for the win!
Light is critical to all extend one's productive day. Having now procured all 3 sizes of the Biolite Alpenglow, I can honestly say that ALL are functional, beautiful and specific to the many tasks after dark at the campsite or during a power failure. Once again, BioLite has come through with a winner here! Highly recommended in ANY size!

Great for Kids!
We initially got the Alpenglow Mini for our camping needs, but as soon as we opened the box, our 4 year old usurped it for himself. Our son has had a small handheld night light in his bed since he was a toddler, but the Alpenglow Mini gives him more control over his nighttime lighting options. We love that it has such a long battery life (no need to charge it every day), easy/intuitive controls (in one button!) that our son figured out within a few minutes of use, and thoughtful features like the bungee strap and "lock mode" (which our son doesn't know about *wink). Not only has this small lantern become our son's night time light buddy, it allows him to use his imagination to create sceneries of camp fires, volcanos, submarines, and of course, dance parties during the day! We haven't used it camping yet, but given how it has held up to the daily play of a 4 year old... I would say it can handle the wilderness.
