So Warm, So Comfy!

I am so happy with my new Backcountry Stansbury down jacket. It is incredibly warm - I tried it on in my house and within 10 minutes I was overheating. This jacket is warm! I have gotten so many compliments on the pattern (I got the Desert Stone Pink colorway) and the cut of the jacket. Sizing: I am on the border of a small and medium depending on the style of jacket and cut. I ended up keeping the Small in this jacket. It's a little oversized, and I could have fit in the medium, but I liked how the sleeves hit my wrists really well on the small and the shoulders were the perfect width. I can still wear a sweater under it - the style is boxy and it really works for winter fits. I purchased this to have a more "fashion forward" winter jacket for walking the dog, riding my bike, and skiing on sunny days. I think it will end up being more than that - it works very well as a technical jacket to stuff in my touring pack on cold days.

I only wish I would have more chance to use it! It's been pretty warm here along Colorado's front range since I bought this jacket. But I did have a chance to wear it snowshoeing one time and it was amazing...not too warm, but definitely warm enough and it was very easy to move in. I bought a medium so I'd have room for a sweater or fleece underneath but I don't need those. Still, I like the length of the medium. It's just a bit longer than the one on the model. Great jacket at a great price and it arrived quickly.

Needed a new winter coat and this one checks all the boxes. It’s currently -15 in Montana and after shoveling I’m still warm! Recommend and sizing is accurate
