Why We Built The Backcountry Pines Microgrid Ultralight 1/4-Zip Baselayer Top
"The fabric on this baselayer is so soft and light I almost forget it's even there. But when the wind starts howling, I'm so grateful for the extra layer of protection." —Gearhead® Expert Sam
We ask a lot of our baselayers, and the Backcountry Pines Microgrid Ultralight 1/4-Zip Baselayer Top delivers on all fronts. This form-fitting baselayer is warm, moisture-wicking, and odor-resistant to keep us comfortable, whether we're deep in the backcountry or carving down groomers at the resort. The ultralight microgrid material features a heavy dose of stretch, so we can make quick pivots at the drop of a hat and dance through the trees at lightning speed. The quarter-zip design lets us circulate cool air after a run down the moguls, and thumbholes keep our sleeves in place while we work up steep skintracks.
