With a construction that boasts Astral's proprietary G-Rubber in the outsole and in key areas of the footbed, these sandals are designed to deliver plush comfort and surefooted grip over slick surfaces all day long. Plus, the Rosa also converts to a sport sandal using the webbing strap over the instep or heel for a sturdier fitting sandal.

High quality sandal
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
I've used these sandals for 3 whole summers and they're still holding up great!!
They offer great tread and a removable strap. Without the strap it's a simple flip flop. With the strap it's a high tech sandal.
A Lighter Alternative to Chacos
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
I have always begrudgingly worn Chacos for water activities despite being hard to put on and very heavy. I would have never worn them in a casual situation as I feel they were clunky and honestly kind of ugly. ASTRALS are the solution! Much lighter, easier to slip on and love the power strap or regular flip flop option. I will wear these all summer instead of just on river trips.

Having been a Chaco rep in the past, I have to say that Astral has several advantages: weight, grip (the GS rubber on the bottom of Astral flip flops and all shoes is unmatched in the industry), and style (as you point out!).
