One of the best made shoes on the trail running market
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These running shoes are extremely durable and don’t fall into line with all of the trends around making a large, cushy heal. Instead Altra is going for a more forward support feature, which is great for those who have any sort of heel or bone spur issues in their feet.

Look at your adaptations
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had to return them. I'm naturally a klutz with my busted collarbone and knee. On Sunday I was slipping and sliding in them in the rain. I think it's more the shoe than me. I didn't send it the receipt since I returned them in 2 days.

Great shoes!

After he said nothing but good things about the men’s style, I had to get one of myself as well!

Perfect running shoe Altra Running

Good supportive shoe.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Altra Running Women's Timp 5 shoe is a great supportive shoe that also provides superior grip on all kinds of terrain. I was very happy when I received these in the mail as they are great looking shoes. My first few times wearing them , they did feel a slight bit tight or narrow. By the third time wearing these, I feel like I had got used to the very supportive feel of the shoe and that I felt comfort in the support. Hiking through slippery, rocky areas have been a breeze with these Atra shoes.. These look and feel well made , I'm feeling confident that they will last awhile. If your looking for a supportive shoe with fantastic grip , I recommend giving these a try.

Durable shoe!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an incentivized review in exchange for an honest opinion. I sized up and glad I did because the shoes fit snug! The two problem areas are the arch and toe area. They will require a “breaking in” period to reach maximum comfort. The traction is great! These are some rugged shoes and I expect for them to last for some time. I would recommend these shoes but size up a half size! They are stylist and functional. Beyond comfortable & durable!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I cannot believe how lightweight these are! When I picked up the box I didn’t think there were any shoes inside! I immediately liked the colors & style. Very unique but love the color combination. These are very easy to put on and are incredibly comfortable. I am happy that these are true to size. The traction is outstanding and again, surprising, based on how lightweight they are. I took them out walking and jogging and wore them all day to see how my feet would feel. I can honestly say after putting them through the test of wearing all day long, they are the most comfortable running shoe I’ve ever worn! This is the first time I’ve tried out this brand and I am so glad I did! Big fan!

Created a sore after 1 minute
The pain on the top left side of my right foot was instantaneous. I never made it out the front door. Something was digging into my foot, and it left a painful sore.

Very good shoes
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the Timp 5 does not have a wide toe box, at all. They are actually tight on my toes, since I’m used to a wide toe box. Not sure if there’s anything about these that really resemble anything that I love about Altra shoes. I’m contemplating sending them back. I’ve worn Altra for many many years. I wear them for hiking, running, everyday and for work as a nurse. I have been so bummed with the last couple pairs that I’ve bought . Actually, my Lonepeak 6 are very uncomfortable. I pretty much swore off Altra and even bought a pair of different brand shoes for work. I decided to try one more time and bought a pair of Timp 5s. I received them today and they are very comfortable right out of the box. I’m super excited to love my Altra shoes again! I can’t wait to put some miles on them!

Try on before buying
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Like many people said, these shoes run smaller. There is lots of room in the toe area, and the soles have a ton of traction, great for trail running. The arches are high, but they feel good on my feet. I just wish I had gotten a larger size
