Altra updated the Superior 7 with a new tongue construction and ghillie lacing system that wrap the foot more naturally at step-in, eliminating pressure points before they start. New tooling increases forefoot flexibility so the shoe bends with your foot through the push-off rather than resisting it, and refined MaxTrac lug placement sharpens traction on dirt, loose rock, and rooted singletrack. The Standard FootShape toe box gives toes room to splay and balance without the excess volume of a wider last, keeping the midfoot secure on technical moves.
