Why We Like The Altra Provision 7 Running Shoe

For a natural feel when we start out and a touch of support when we start to fatigue, we lace into the Altra Provision 7 Running Shoe. The midsole's Innerflex grooves follow the natural movement of our feet throughout our stride, while the ghillie lacing hugs our foot securely over the soft yet energized platform. In the final stretch, the medial GuideRail tech helps prop up our tired arch, making sure it doesn't completely collapse.

Great zero drop shoes for longer runs

Footbox continues to be comfortable. Enough support for longer runs. Of course with the zero drop my foot/calves work harder.

Love this shoe

I've purchased 3 pairs of the Provision 7. They provide the perfect amount of support and cushioning. They fit true to size and are the perfect width for my narrower foot. I'm an older runner with knee issues and I find these shoes permit me to continue with the sport.

Love my provision 7!

I tried to stray and buy another brand. But so glad I sent the others back and got back to Altra. So supportive and the wide toe bed is the best!

The tennis shoes are helpful in just every day walking. They are very comfortable and have helped my feet stop hurting.

Has really helped calm my neuroma

I've been super happy with both pairs of these shoes. The only complaint I have is the heel was a little uncomfortable at first. It no longer bothers me but takes a little getting used to. I have two neuromas on right foot and Altras have helped a lot. These are good too since I have a high arch and there is more support there.

Finally had to replace my old Altras

The top fabric feels like it's cut too short. The spot where the lacing begins, just behind my toes, is really tight. Even with laces completely removed. I walked a little over 30 miles in them two weeks ago and the tops of my feet still feel bruised. The rest of the fit is fine and I like the colors.

Immediate no

I want to like Altras but have yet to find a model that fits my high instep. My feet aren't particularly wide, but these were so narrow, even though the toe box is supposed to wider than other brands. They also cut into the top of my foot and were pretty painful.

Definitely would buy again.

I walk four miles, five days a week and this shoe has the support to continue through the four miles to where my back doesn't hurt at all!

Sole designed to carry dirt inside

Pros: wide toe box comfortable w/my bunion. Cons: the tiny crevices in the sole collect dirt, mud, & tiny stones & are terrible at releasing it. If you hit mud or soil, good luck getting the muck out.
