Wanted to like these shoes

These shoes fit perfectly and were super comfy but the tongue was too long and rubbed my leg where it hit around my ankle to the point of creating a blister. I thought they might soften up but the tongue has rubber on it and I don't think it actually will. I had to return them. Such a bummer.

I love all of my Altra shoes, I have sneakers and hiking boots, and my only complaint is the size inconsistency. I typically wear a 9.5 in Lone Peaks and Provisions, but in these I should have sized up to a 10 like I did with my Olympus boots.
