Comfy toe box
Shoes fit comfortably. My only complaint are the shoe laces. They're quite short. For the price, I hate that I have to buy replacement laces.

Do not waste ypur money!
Broke down after 3-4 months of street walking! Very disappointed of the quality! Wanted to be my shoe of choice!

Not as wide as Lone Peak 6..
Lone Peak 6 were my first Altra shoes and I LOVED them so much I now have 3 pairs of Altra shoes. I was very disappointed by how narrow the LP 7 is compared to the LP 6. When I wear the LP 7, my bunion pain returns. I have no pain with the 6. Please bring back the width of the Lone Peak 6!!

Poor color selection
The current color selections are awful. Light blue seemed the best of the worst but mine stained right away from normal trail use. I wore my old dark blue pair through the mud all the time and never had such noticeable staining.

Disappointed in the durability
I am a big Altra fan - loving their wide toe bed and zero-drop design! But, the Lone Peak is not durable, as is promoted. I went through 3 pairs this summer (training for the Peak they are named after!) because the tread wore out and the seams started splitting. I'd expect a better design for the price.

better heels, still roomy toes
I love the roomy toe box of the LP, but my heels were rolling around in previous models even though my laces were tied as tightly as I could. The plastic pieces in the back of the LP 7 grip my heels just enough so they no longer roll around, but still allow my heels to move freely on technical terrains. The toe box feels roomy enough for me that I feel no restrictions (my feet are regular width feet). The laces from previous models were too long and awkward for me, and these shorter laces are great. I agree with other about the bad color selections though. Altra can take lessons from Hoka on the colors. Other than colors and outsole durability, LP 7 is a great shoe.

lone peak 6 was better
I have been wearing the loan peak for several years. I love the wide toe box that these shoes are known for. I purchased these about a month ago. I feel that the toe box is a little more narrow than in the 6's. The shoe laces are also too short.

Colors are awful. Shoe is still great!
Just like the title states. The store I went to only had the tan and green ones and I went with the green cus it looked "better". Seriously what happened with the colors? Lol. I kinda got used to the pull stab from the 6s so that was an adjustment I'm still getting used to. Other than that it's still a great trail runner!

Let's add a vibram outsole!
I have been wearing the LP's for years and feel like this newer model is a little more narrow than past models. Bring back the width Altra and let's add a Vibram outsole to this model as well!!!

Cheapened detailing
I have had Lone Peaks and the Olympus in the past, and purchased these as my others had (more quickly than I'd like). Narrower than previous LPs, shorter laces, more fabric and less leather or thicker surface treatments, gaiter trap is just a cheap piece of Velcro now, gaiter hook at front of shoe is gone. Bought these bcz I have bunions and loved the wide toe box, but they narrowed them enough that they feel tight across toe box with my orthotics in. Bummer. Colors are nice.
