True to size, great design, love this sweater. Has a very British military feel, especially the grey with olive patches and orange accents-- A few items to note that may help others: 1. True to size. If you look at some older reviews, they say "small" or "size up". Don't let this throw you--Alps & Meters must have listened and adjusted their sizing because Large = Large here. 2. Contrary to one of the pictures here, there are no thumb holes on the cuffs. That said... 3. The arms are plenty long, and so is the body. I'm 6'2", 35" sleeve length, 44" chest, 35" waist, and the large fits me perfectly. If there is one thing I would have preferred it would be a little more tapered athletic fit through the waist. I would not size down, as a medium would be too small through the shoulders. 4. I was a little concerned about the kangaroo pockets, that they would contribute bulk like a hooded sweatshirt. I was pleasantly surprised that the liner inside the sweater is low bulk and creates no extra bulge. It makes perfect sense, because the warm air should be trapped inside the sweater, so why would you insulate the pocket? Nice design, A&M. 5. This sweater is 80% wool, 20% nylon. This helps the sweater keep shape and lowers overall heft while keeping it comfortable across a range of temps. I could see wearing this as a layer piece or as a jacket substitute, estimate comfort at 40-70 degrees F. Not cheap, but a great old school throwback item. My new favorite.

Classic Ski sweater
This is a really well designed Ski guid sweater. Not only is it functional on the slopes but it is stylish enough for everyday wear. The wool is durable so you may need to wear something under neath to prevent irritation from the wool. It fits true to size

Thanks to the first reviewer, I sized it up and it fit just right. I am usually a medium but large fits real well. Nice design (bought the gray sweater) and touches. The lambswool isn't as soft as I would like - still itchy - something to note.

I had the opportunity to wear this around the office for a week or so, and was very impressed. Most impressive was the amount of compliments I received and the amount of questions I received as to the ability to procure an Alps and Meters sweater for their own use! This sweater fits slim, so I would recommend going true to size if you are looking for that lean look, or going up one size if you are wanting to wear a layer underneath and like the fit to be a bit longer.
