What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:

"I travel with my bike a few times a year, and reassembling it accurately used to eat up a lot of time and mental energy. The Fit Kit changed that completely. The saddle plate gives me two repeatable reference points every time, and the magnetic height bullets lock into the bottom bracket so I can pull a precise measurement in minutes instead of fiddling around for half an hour."

Anyone who has ever broken down a bike for a flight and then spent the better part of an afternoon trying to recreate their position on the other end knows the frustration. A millimeter off on saddle height can mean knee discomfort by mile thirty. The Abbey Bike Tools Fit Kit exists to solve exactly that problem, giving you a reliable, repeatable system for measuring and confirming your position every single time.

The saddle plate is the centerpiece of the kit, engraved with a metric ruler so you can calculate setback from the side of the bike without fighting bottle cages in the way. Two reference marks on the plate let you pull a measurement to the exact same point relative to the nose of the saddle, accurate down to a single millimeter. The magnetic saddle height bullets drop into your Shimano crank bolt or preload cap and give you a dead-center reference at the bottom bracket, so your tape measure is always starting from the right place. There is even room on the wide plate to mount a level, protractor, or phone for dialing in saddle angle, which makes this particularly useful for anyone running a non-traditional saddle shape.
